Cant say he's ever made a mistake but at least he wont tell you "go read the book" for help... Yeah but a main problem with these guys is... they've never heard of a curve (only 3 people pass per test)

Sadly that is how my Calculus professor teaches too and it makes it difficult...examples are the best way to understand it; theory confuses a lot of people.
yes i most people need some examples until they really understand it calculus is a hard part of maths but not really maybe it just because of how most people teach it
If he did too many examples, it will be 100 lecture course. None of us have the patience to sit through 100 lectures. I think the aim is to teach the theory quickly and we can work through examples ourselves. They expect people to be not spoonfed everything.
i wud prefer more examples and less theory because people are smart enough to figure out theory behind series by looking at simple examples..check out patrickJMT's videos...ten minutes of each of his videos were all that i needed to ace calc
