They are no more economical to run than a plane. A Cessna 172 has the same power and carries one less passenger but cruises a LOT faster than 90 mph!

All my research on the net,and I am yet to see one of these fly more than 5minutes, second,I have yet to hear or see any in a passenger service...The concept is cool,but I think at this point that is all. I would love to buy one,but try emailing anyone who claim they are selling,it is a big secret...

Propably you don't use the web link that I have post in your message, so it is not a secret the price of a 5seater WIG craft. A Russia company ATT JSC has selling the Aquaglide-5 at 400,000 Euros + 20,000 for training. Do you have the money at this price? Aquaglide-5 was in commercial operation (with 11 crafts) 10 years ago in Bahamas.

Hey,thanks for the link,I did called the company and send them emails and they say they promise they will return my calls but I am still waiting.

I did get a quote on the aquaglide-5,but it does not come off the water high enuff for my application. The Korean one looks more fitting,my applications I will encounter 6feet waves at times and the question I can't get answer is if it can travel for 45minutes over 6feet waves?

United Arab Emirates (UAE) are more skilled than you because this month UAE have purchase 17 WIG crafts from China at over 1 billion US$ cost. The order will completed in May 2011.

You haven't experienced in WIG technology matters. This craft classified as WIG Type B, this mean can fly at height of 150meters, this is a flight height limit to categorized a craft as WIG. This is regulated by interim rules of International Maritime Organization (IMO) since 2002.

In praxis this craft from Korea doesn't have a certification for its class like other WIG craft from Russia or Germany. I'm suspicius that this craft is WIG Type C, typiclally it is a hydroplane and the rules for its operation coming from ICAO. But in millitary sector this doesn't matter.
