Hey im a conq and im 2 off 50 and i wanted to make either a DT or Guard, just wanted something with a shield. How different are each or how similar? Do u have to stance dance as guard/dt like i do on conq?

Yes, you can still stack Counter Strikes. And although it is often difficult to position for it, it really does make a difference. Watch the HP drain on an opponent that I'm not attacking -- that one peon near the end basically killed himself attacking me.

The other thing is that you need to set your traits up right. My HP regen is great because of this. AOC really has a fun tank class.

im just coming back to the game after about a year and i played a guardian back then....do they still get good damage like they did back then?

I didn't play any other class in AOC. For PVE I think that Guards a bit slow in the damage department, but they are almost unkillable.

Assassins are pretty fragile in PVE. Guards can wade into an area and basically survive anything. However, they may take longer to kill things. I've watched Assassins my level get their ass handed to them with 1 mob, while I'm taking 2 or 3 of them. But -- that's what tanks do, so...
