@SonicChaocc I don't think he's supposed to be a traditional boss fight. His true power comes from manipulation and setting others against his foes. Strip that away from him like Ezio does, and you're left with a man. I think that's a lesson Assassin's Creed tries to teach. No matter how powerful somebody is, they're still human underneath it all.
This also comes in Assassin's Creed Brotherhood's soundtrack as an "extra track" named as "End Fight (ACII Bonus Track)", I have it but I didn't know it was from here.
Latin: Áve María, grátia pléna, Dóminus técum. Benedícta tu in muliéribus, et benedíctus frúctus véntris túi, Iésus. Sáncta María, Máter Déi, óra pro nóbis peccatóribus, nunc et in hóra mórtis nóstrae. Ámen.
English:
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
@Shiggityshiggtyschwa it was an invention of altair that he get it from the knowing of the apple that can see in the future, and firearms were there, so... there is the accuracy
Some day, there should be a traitor assassin as a villain. Not like Al Mualim, he fought with ancient relics, illusions, and mindless slaves. I mean someone young and skilled who can use the same tactics as, and be an equal match to, the protagonist.
@bigfatcarp93 You mean, a bit like that Constantinople assassin who betrayed Yusuf and his assassins; I've forgotten what he's called but I'm pretty sure he was a multiplayer character! The sentinel? :)
@tanjida2008 Ah... sorry. For obvious reasons, I didn't read to the multiplayer bit, I stopped reading the comment when I realized it pertained to Revelations :P
@bigfatcarp93 It's okay. I'd be pissed too if I found out something big >.< But yeah, the sentinel is a good example of what you meant, he just isn't important in the storyline! Have fun, playing Revelations, I know I did! :)
Áve María, grátia pléna, Dóminus técum. Benedícta tu in muliéribus, et benedíctus frúctus véntris túi, Iésus. Sáncta María, Máter Déi, óra pro nóbis peccatóribus, nunc et in hóra mórtis nóstrae. Ámen.
Hey Everybody! I have just released my new electronic album “Sub-Zero” which is heavily inspired by the world and music of Assassin's Creed. If you're interested you can listen to the full album on my youtube channel, as well as download the album for free!
It's sad that too many people didn't hear this song since most people have maximum notority when they reach Rodrigo and when the notority is full the notorious music overrides any other music.
@Killicon93 I always wear the Auditore cape when I'm on that mission because it seems fitting. Guess I have to do one without that cape now and try not to become notorious.
@Compwiz1993 And he had the Apple! Imagine how better fight with Rodrigo wolud be if he used the Staff little more. I mean - the Vault is just perfect for an epic fight! Clones, reversing game controls, platforming sections happening in your head and more.
Well, I think I will play this track next time I replay AC2.
@darthkahn45 You never were....Get it over with then!!...No. Killing you won't bring my family back... I'm done. Nulla è reale, tutto è lecito. Requiescat in pace.
@ThePunisher3O5 At first I was like "what the hell!? All this unnecessary stalling and he doesn't even kill him at the end what a rip-off!"
But after a while I understood that not killing him is more painful for him than ending his life as Rodrigo has to sit there and watch everything he has lived for be stolen right in front of him. It's the ultimate humiliation and the perfect revenge for the death of his father and brothers. Stealing what he worked so hard for and destroying his dreams.
SPOILER!
Form One: *One guy against Four Ezio clones & Ezio himself*
FORM TWO: *Punch punch punch, Stop to listen to speech, more punches again*
Seriously, for a last boss, he is underpowered. I'd blame the Apple of EDEN

@bigfatcarp93 Yeah, historical accuracy was very important to them. That's why Ezio uses a pistol in the 15th century... >_>;
