  • This is a very informative video however, it does include some offensive violence that is not helpful in understanding but only confuses the viewer more in how the nitrogen cycle works. There are also some areas where the talking of "Dr. Undergrad" coincides with the talking of the atoms so it is difficult to hear what the Doctor is saying. Great job of putting words to computerized pictures and diagrams. Visualization is normally the simplest way to understand confusing, complex situations.

  • @TheMsAlegna The 'offensive violence' adds an element of humour which incourages students to learn it + It is appropriate because it showed the Lion being decomposed

  • great job.. =)

  • darn!!love this vid...funny yet informative ... =)

  • taking a bio final tomorrow, helped my understand the nitrogen cycle and get a few laughs in as well

  • That was great! My freshman class loved it!

  • ugh hate it im just watching it 2 study 4 a quiz but i like it when the bkue thingy kills the lion

  • hey, es un buen video, gracias por las ilustraciones , esta chido

    great job!

  • The video is useful. However there is one correction..yes Ammonium carries a positive charge, but nitrate should be carrying a negative charge.

  • @alelmnoor

You are correct. I left the postive charges on the Nitrogen atoms,

and did not include the total formal charges of the whole molecules. Sorry for the confusion. You have a good eye for detail.

  • @valcore184

It is actually important that NO3 is negatively charged - negatively charged ions leach much more readily than positively charged ions. Ammonium rarely leaches - it either is converted to NO3 in the soil or immobilized by microbes. Otherwise nice video

  • Great video! Hope to see more from you!

  • good job val i like it big thumbs up!!!!
