i want to try the paint swirling. but im not exactly sure how. i have a 32 gallon trash can. filled it with 25 gallons of water. and added about 2 and a half cups of borax. what paint did you use? i have a bunch of this stuff - FolkArt Acrylic Colors Paint. will it work?
So.... how do i prepare my guitar? Sand it down to bear wood or can i just like stick that bitch right in? another question what do i do AFTER the guitar has been swirled and pulled out?
@BehindTheWallOfDoom Sand guitar body down then prime, re-sand when dry then swirl after guitar has been swirlred let dry for a few days then clear coat lacquer good luck!!!!

I really am blown away! Such incredible effects created by a very simple technique. Everyone can keep their Van Halen reps, this is the future!
You make it look easy though I am sure it takes a lot of practice.
Thanks for sharing.
