@roguejulie :girl afer my own heart. Grandma always raised me to first look at the "can" then the teeth anything else didn't matter ROTF Grandma was a Can girl for sure
Nice one Chico ! Dirty Dan on drums! They were a ten man juke box , always had the right singer for the song. No egos. They always gave 100 per cent !
I am trying so hard not to sing right now. I have a bad case of laryngitis and 1. I really can't talk let along sing right now. 2. Trying to sing REALLY hurts my poor throat. But it's hard to not sing along with these talented and adorable boys.
I LOVE you for saying that. So much is said about Johnny (whom I adore. He is a very nice person via e-mail LOL Never met him in person) or Santini (who is sexy yes) or Donny (I'm not saying nuthin here) or Chico (whom I love as much as Danny) but OMG Danny ROCKS on drums, guitar, VOCALS ..... well he is superb
Wow. I'm right in the middle. I was 4 when Grease hit the theaters, 5 when I saw Sha-na-na for the first time, and 8 when I met them backstage after my second show.
That said, no one's mentioned Lenny on piano or Scott on guitar?
OMG you blew me away . I so did NOT notice that.THANK YOU for seeing that. Lenny gets Piano Props for this. WOW. I've seen this alot and did not notice.THANKS I love seeing him at the piano too.
I've only seen Lennie playing sax! Also, I've only seen Jocko playing drums! I don't recall Denny or Santini playing any instruments. I've seen Johnny on piano, Bowzer on piano, Chico on bass, drums & guitar, Screamin' on piano & guitar & Donny on piano, guitar & drums. Donny & Chico have played clarinet in skits but not on stage as I recall.
Admittedly, there's about a 90% chance that all of it, outside of the vocals are actually canned, so it doesn't really matter who's sitting at the piano, but still...
(If you don't believe me, watch Scott during any Jerry Lee Lewis number. Usually, what he's doing and what the piano is doing are two slightly different things.) Doesn't detract in my mind from the performance at all, though.
Watching Jocko makes me happy....he is good medicine <3

The only drag about Danny on the drums is that we see him playing the cans, but we don't get to see him shaking his can!

"Do you like it like this?" is such a loaded question from any of the guys in the band!

Shout out to Danny on the drums. Only Jocko or Danny could do this song justice.
