Please watch the video through the eyes of a horse behaviorist and not through pop "horsemanship". Behaviorists accept not only that a human can play the role of a trusted leader (what they think about "dominance" might surprise you), but that humans can act as "bachelors playing together". Check out the movements in an Equid Ethogram, they don't show signs of distress. None tuck their tails and retreat, they look a lot LESS stressed than the average join up session. Looks like play.

These are our CURLY Horses playing before our demo at a Horse Expo in Oregon.
The Red horse is "BO" my husbands Curly/Draft gelding.
The Black & white is "STORM" my CURLY APPY colt & the GRULLA is our PRYOR MT. Mustang/CURLY/ APPY colt who has just turned 3 years old .
