Our military is designed to defeat conventional armies, not nation building. This was a foriegn policy blunder by the current administration.

The dollar was overinflated to begin with because we werent exporting enough. Now that the dollar is cheaper, our goods can be more competitive in a global market, thereby increasing our exports. It's called market adjustment.
