  • It's probably been mentioned somewhere already, but how much does your rifle weigh with this setup?

  • @maxboost83 it weighed in at a little over 9lbs.

  • I Understand That Smith & Wesson Has Several Different Models Of The M&P 15. Which Model Is Yours? I Know Its Not The Sport Model B/c You Have A Dust Cover And A Forward Assist Button. Approximately How Much Did You Pay For Yours? I Am Interested In Building An AR 15, And I Need A Good Base Model To Start With.

  • Wish I had the money for an acog. I have the money but I'd rather buy another 1911 :/

  • with all do respect, I cant understand why people post videos of there weapons on you tube, dont you think that it might be a great idea to keep your weapons that you possess to a low instead of advertising what you have? i would never let all the crooks out there know what i have...

  • @shreader327 well if you take a video of your car, do you expect it to be stolen? Or a video of your house, do you expect to be burglarized? You have a better chance of someone following you after using your ATM I would think. Also they would have to own a set of large balls breaking into a house where they know the person living in it has such a huge arsenal of weapons.

  • @chanderson1 no, but unlike a car or some electronics, when you buy your firearm we all know it gets registered through ATF. so if your firearms get stolen and get used for something bad within the time limit of the point that it was stolen to the time you notify the authorities you can be blamed and prosecuted for something you didnt do. there is nothing wrong with posting your video of your firearm which is a nice set up. all im saying is just be careful..

  • @shreader327 Hi, good points but I have a few firearms that are not registered to me. Here you can buy a firearm from a private sale and not have to register it. Its always a good idea to do so, but not required in my state. I see your point, but for example, what if I have a firearm stolen that just happens to be the one I didnt register to my name? So many variables to this situation, but still variables involved.

  • @chanderson1 and yes, like you i would pity the sorry SOB who would try to break into my home. just cant be to careful any more.

  • the scope lights up your recital while the m&P lights up your rectum, lmao... nice set up bud..

  • @shreader327 LOL

  • lol donut rectical hahaha lol im sorry but that made my fucking day.

  • Stock blows the whole gun!!

  • @Goteemsaan Everyone has their own preference. Chill out.

  • hey i was just wondering if you no what free float quad rail i need for my m&p 15 sport thanks

  • @WuWarPigz Well, if you plan to keep your front sight post, any carbine length free float rail will do. If you decide to remove your front sight post and go with a low profile gas block and a longer rail, I highly recommend the Troy TRX extreme battle rail.

  • I suppose this is already sold. If not inbox me

  • How much in mods?

  • @da9illest821 the optics were more than the rifle alone.

  • lol recticle?

  • You kill russian with AK from 200 yards away..

  • No disrespect but that gun looks likes shit.

  • Yooper?

  • how much was this gun without upgrades?

  • @ryanst501 I recall paying around $890 out the door at the time when all the firearms were starting to jump up in price.

  • @chanderson1 I want a trijicon =(......it's just out of my budget, i wish they would come down on price

  • @Bamabarrett They are pricey, but there are some reasonably priced alternatives out there. The alternatives are just as good, but not battle proven as the ACOGs are.

  • @chanderson1 Please inform me of an alternative. The only one I have found similiar is the Burris ar332 its only 3x magnification and ive heard mixed reviews of it. thanx

  • Does that ace socom stock come with buffer and spring or did u use the one that came with ur S&W? Is it the short r long?

  • @MyNameIsMrSwifty I used the one from the M&P. It works just fine. It is a carbine length spring.

  • that m&p is sweet!! i know that trijicon aint cheap. but i would love to get one for my ar

  • The one I am getting is 5.56

  • Nice I am thinking of get one s&m ar15 m&p

  • reticle, not recticle

  • Not sure if you still have this rifle, but i HIGHLY reccommend a Battle Comp compensator/muzzle break. Made in the US and i have yet to find a better brake.

  • the pins for the front sights are backwards to most ar's

    learned this this morning lol

just in case you ever plan on ditching the stock front sight

  • so you buy a 600$ gun and put 600$ worth parts on it?

  • @somethinglikeaninja1 not a $600 gun. Parts are what people normally upgrade on their rifles. Just a normal thing.

  • @somethinglikeaninja1 you must not know much about AR's...

  • @SMarti018 I will admit i am no expert.... I was not trying to be a dick i was asking a simple???

  • Rectical. LOL.

  • @tartredarrow Haha, I thought I was the only one that caught that.

  • are you sure it's not .223?

  • how does the A2 front sight effect the view through the acog?

  • Nice AR! How much did you spend on the accessories?

  • Your's looks better than mine, damnit !

  • answered my own question on the optics... great vid! love the chrome plated bolt carrier, very cool!

  • Comment removed

  • Hide ya kids, Hide ya wife, Hide ya "Rectical" lol

  • It's just no good when you get your rectical and your retical mixed up. just kidding, nice AR

  • you mean 5.56 right?

  • @Jestus13 yes

  • @Jestus13 that's what he said

  • Great explanations.. I've watched many of your vids. Many thanks. I am trying to get a new handguard that aligns perfectly with the flat top rail on the upper receiver. Does your Troy line up? If so, can you provide additional details on your Troy handguard?

  • @TheDerdman Well, the Troy is what came on this M&P as a package when I bought it. As far as I can tell, it is in perfect alignment with the upper receiver and the great thing about it is that it is a two piece handguard so removal and installation is a snap.

  • @chanderson1 Just installed the Troy drop-in battlerail. Extremely easy to install as you stated. Feels solid and appears to be aligned with upper receiver flat top. Troy product code in case anyone is interested: SRAI-MRF-D7BT-00. Thanks.

  • @TheDerdman Great! Troy products are great quality and seem very durable.

  • How much did the Trijicon Acog cost you?

  • I have the M&P !5x with the m4 feed ramp latest upgrades, best ar on the market!

  • where did you get your handguards ? ive been looking for some like that that are separate pieces but i can only find just one big piece

  • @xBABYxSTOMPERx They came with the gun. They are made by Troy Industries.

  • 35 inches long and 6.25 lbs

  • Hello Sir... is 699.00 a good price for this? has anyone seen it cheaper?

  • @mroneniceguy Thats really cheap. Is it used? I've seen them in my area for 900-1100.

  • @mroneniceguy Dude thats a fantastic price. Mine was $1,100 new.

@chanderson1 That's a really nice setup man. I'm trying to save up to get some additions to mount on mine.

  • @mroneniceguy the Academy sports near me has it for 599..

  • @mroneniceguy - There is an entry level M&P non dust cover and forward assist for this price. I shouldn't say entry level as its the same exact weapon as the M&P 15 with the dust cover and forward assist.

  • @mroneniceguy i just put money down on one for 625.00.

  • @mroneniceguy there are two different kinds. there are gas powered which are cheaper and piston mechanism which is over 1000

  • Very nice setup brother!

  • sweet vid bro....im actually putting money down on my first AR 15 which is this one....this video help me alot

  • @edwincastro19 thanks man. I'm glad the video helped out. good luck with yours.

  • @chanderson1 That scope is expensive... nice though.

  • @mroneniceguy Yes it is. It costs more than the rifle itself but I think well worth it. Buy one optic that will last a lifetime of hard use.

  • Respond to this video... did you put that charging handle urself? it looks nice and beneficial.

  • Do you still have this rifle? How much did it weight?

  • I've almost shot 600 of wolf ammo and it cycles pretty good, only one FTE, other than that, shoots pretty good. I have the M&P15x, same scope as yours, shoots pretty good groups @ 50 and 100yrds with wolf. Scope zeroed @ 50yrds.

  • Did the front site interfere with ACOG optics?

  • @tundrahog No not really. The ACOG was magnified so the front sights post was very blurry and it didnt interfere with the ACOG at all.

  • WHERE IS YOUR SHIRT SIR???

  • Hey love your videos. Was looking to purchasing a smith and wesson m&p 15 not sure where to find one. have looked at academy but not sure if the quality is the same? what can you tell me? Thanks!

  • @52679 Hi and thanks! Try Bud's guns website. My buddy just picked up the M&P Tactical that comes with a Troy Industries quadrail and flip up rear sights for a decent price.

  • I'm getting the M&P lower as the foundation to my AR-15. Sure, its a bit more expensive than the other lowers out there, but its worth it.

  • @EvilxMerlin For the money, I would rather go with a Colt lower. I do like the 1:8 on this barrell for this SW

  • What are you asking for your s&w ar?

  • damn...WHY DID I WATCH THIS VIDEO..i hate u...now i have go buy one..sweet ass rifle...looks bad ass bro...wifey is gonna kill me....

  • @Titan9mm LOL, Just hide it from her.

  • @Titan9mm Put a lampshade over the muzzle as you sneak it into the house.

  • Straight out of the box this gun has a long trigger pull doesn't it? I tried to bumpfire with this gun and i was only able to get a three round burst. Is it just with mine?

  • do you have any vids on how to field strip em n clean em? im thinking of buying 1 this weekend but i know nothing about riffles.

  • @aztecwarrior608 its so easy you have no idea.. just pop out 2 pins and your practically there.. ill post a vid of it if you cant find one.. Smith and Wesson M&P15 is so legit especially for the price..

  • I wish I could afford to spend a thousand dollars on a acog scope.

  • Thanks looks like I'll have to weigh "no pun intended" my options for the future great vids keep up the good work

  • Absolutely I have found this platform extremely reliable provided you use decent mags I have about twelve hundred rounds down range with a few hiccups but again it has to do with using decent mags but its definetly my new favored platform I am looking to procure a different stock and I was leaning towards the vltor just from the price stand point but what is the weight difference from stock to the Troy option you went with not that I mind weight its a heavy weapon from the start I was curious

  • @lionsfromlambs Hi, I held both the Troy MCS and the original stock and to tell you the truth, the Troy was just a hair heavier. I would say only 1-1.5 pounds heavier than the original. The troy is an all aluminum chassis and is extremely rigid compared to the original stock. Well worth the investment in my opinion and makes a great rifle more awesome.

  • I also picked up the SA socom II and love it so far as I am jumping off the ar15 band wagon it shoots great with the federal xm80c ammo a little more expensive to shoot though I think I'm going to use the $ money from my last AR sale to fund a reloader by the way great videos on the socom

  • @lionsfromlambs yes at the range they are a dime a dozen but you rarely see these socoms.

  • Whats the main differences between the M&P sport and the M&P Tactical?

  • @pjicleanair420 I think the Tactical comes with the quad rail and Troy industries folding front and rear sights. The sport model is a basic stripped down model. I think it may not even have the basics like a shell deflector or a forward assist.

  • @chanderson1 k thanks

  • @chanderson1

I believe it does have the shell deflector. It doesn't have the forward assist or a dust cover.

  • @EverythingisFire ah okay, thanks I just looked at one quickly while it was on the shelf but couldnt remember too much of it.

  • @CabelasOutdoor4x4 thats the stupid shit ive ever heard, my brother is 2nd battalion ranger and thinks you're full of shit =]

  • I noticed yours has the forward assist and a dust cover and the ones on their site did not have these additions.

  • Is this the MP15 Sport? I saw that one on their sight for about $700.00

  • I want to know about the gun not your accessories.

  • Did you ever get the Herstal? I'd like to see the sexy beast with your style of upgrades!

  • @Dariks08 No, I ended up with the Springfield Armory Socom II instead.

  • would you recomend this rifle or the ruger SR 556??

  • @onehitkill I really like this rifle and I dont have any experience with the SR556.

  • @onehitkill i recomend the M&P over the sr 556 any day. The sr is much much heavier so by the time you put all of your attatchments on you hav a ten pound gun. if you buy a nice free float for the m&p 15 it is much more accurate than the ruger and still twice as light and your cost will still probably be less.

  • The rifle will probably work better with 5.56 55grain, f the twist is 1:9 ratio.

  • RECTICAL!!!! HAHAHAHAHA it is RETICAL dude!

  • @Rook369 lmao

  • @Rook369 lol...its reticle...

  • @Rook369 It's funny because you were both wrong. :D It's reticle, sir.

  • @Rook369 I think this guy has more money than he has sense. He has top of the line shit but can't tell you much about it. TRYGICON. FIVE FIFTY SIX?

  • lol, rectical

  • Reticle not recticle

  • I recently bought this gun and realized shortly after that the hand guards actually have some slight rotation to them. Is this normal, and if it is is there anything you can do to minimize it, or stop it altogether. It is very annoying. Thanks!

  • @rmm1086 Hi, I didnt notice anything with mine.

  • @rmm1086 Nor did I with mine. Had a hella of a time getting it off too. (Installed a troy quad-rail system)

  • Just bought a S&W M&P 15 and it is an awesome gun. Fires great and is super smooth

  • Would you suggest buying this gun even if your really exprienced to airsoft?

  • @lvl3eh I would recommend it if you were into airsoft or not.

  • @chanderson1 Is this by echo1? Because i cant find it if it isnt...

  • @lvl3eh This is not an airsoft gun. this is the real thing.

  • @lvl3eh idiot

  • HOW MUCH MONEY TOTAL FOR THE WHOLE SET UP?

  • @johnnykaos313 Close to $3000

  • @johnnykaos313

that ACOG rwill really st you back..

im sure just the rifle without all the toys

    was around $900-$1100

  • this video inspired me to buy a S&W AR15! beautiful gun you have there, i was wondering what kind of quad rail you have on this gun? and i really like that diamond plate pattern rail cover on there, who makes those accessories?

  • Comment removed

  • Nice review. Love mine(M&P15MOE & M&P15R 5.45x39). Maybe I've been lucky but mine has had ZERO failures with Wolf ammo. I use it almost exclusively. My son & I put 500 rounds of Wolf through mine on Saturday and another 350 on Sunday with no problems. Definately a nicely made gun. Wish I had an ACOG, but the EOTECH will do for now.

  • whats the differance between s&w ar-15 and a bushmaster ar-15

  • @motoxrider115 Not a whole lot. They're basically the same rifle with a few small differences. The Smith & Wesson is technically chambered for the 5.56 round as the Bushmaster is chambered in .223

  • Love my SmittyWes AR M&P15... Magpuls are awesome as well no flaws at all, my SmittyWes eat's just about anything except for those lousy Wolf Ammo... WOLF sucks ass, majorly, extremly dirty. Federal and PMC Ammo works excellent

  • @hungbig I agree about the Wolf ammo. Mine would not ever cycle through one round of it. Went back to brass and has been 100% since.

  • are you black or white you sound white but have dark arms

  • @xxbryan715xx I'm actually native hawaiian so I tan really easy

  • Just bought one yestarday, cant wait to go to the range!

Great review, wish I had money left over for an Acog.

  • @jdcinc21 Thanks. I can relate. It took me awhile to make the jump and purchase an ACOG since they are so costly, but after using one, I think it was well worth every penny.

  • It lights up your recticle lol

  • and NO RAIL COVERS ON UR TOP RAIL..trey knight.

  • its not pronounced recticule it reticule., there is no c before the t., jeeez

  • Does your ACOG have a bible verse on it?

  • @TheCrwilliams I haven't taken a look, but I think so

  • @chanderson1 Ten Four

  • Would you recommend the S&W "AR15" over other ARs?

  • @bironmiller4330 In similar prices ranges, I think you can't beat the S&Ws.

  • @chanderson1 Ok, Thanks!

  • @bironmiller4330 Let me answer that for you as being some one that knows, No I don't recommend them! I own several but that is because I purposely bought them when Stag was making them. They are fine rifles and their Customer service is great but dollar for dollar you would do better with a Stag! That is a fact and any real shooter will tell you that. Next choice would be a Rock River unless you have a custom budget. Then there are much better. Stag is the best commercial AR besides RR!

  • @CorruptArsenal213 Nice, I'll look into the Stag ARs!

  • @bironmiller4330 Cool you wont be disappointed! Stag has maintained their quality while companies like Bushmaster have fallen off. DPMS is way to hit or mis and some of the rest are the same. Stag makes a Quality rifle and they are very competitively priced. I trust Stag with the lives of my family and my brothers!

  • WOW, I want that setup! Bad ass looking

  • For the brown federal box he was talking about does he mean the m193 or the m855???

  • no dust cover for the breach

  • @kaakashi86 Yes there is one, its just opened

  • @CabelasOutdoor4x4 its called a Tac-Latch

  • That one nice ar.

  • @BIGGxDAWG210 Thanks man! Appreciate you taking the time to watch and comment.

  • jesus that thing is beautiful, how much did the setup end up costing you?

  • @JCallahan13 Hi, after everything it came to nearly $3000

  • i have a question. how often will u use the light on that gun. i mean you might need it once and why not just rest the ar on ur arm with a light in yout hand. wasted money you should have just bought some ammo or something worth the money lights are stupid.

  • @soccerstud406 Resting your AR on your arm while holding a flashlight is the worse thing you can do

  • @soccerstud406 if you did that in real life when you actually needed a flashlight you would be dead

  • like the word "reckticle"

  • I don't understand how you people afford that sight...isn't that like a 1400 dollar sight? Right there is a 2400 dollar gun with accories not counting your other accesories..wow lots of money wrapped up

  • @mgcglock They are expensive optics, but you buy one, it will last you a lifetime. I've learned my lesson from purchasing dozens of cheap optics and later being totally unsatisfied with them. Sure it is a huge investment, but in my opinion, well worth every penny.

  • I have a M&P 15 and fire .223 ammo through it. I've fired at least 1000 rounds through it, and it hasn't malfunctioned yet...

  • @django1972 The only time I've encountered any malfunctions was when I tested out steel cased russian ammo. Would not eject any of them.

  • @django1972 Look at the barrel, it only says 5.56x45mm. If you are firing .223 through it , you just voided the warranty. That gun is ment to fire 5.56 only. 5.56 and .223 are actually different in pressure measurments and 5.56 has a longer lead. You will were the barrel out quicker, but it shouldn't jam, it should cycle the ammo just fine. But I would never try it.
