This is still amazes me. I've seen more spectacular stuff yes, but this triumphs almost all CGI because 20 years later, this holds up very well. It looks absolutely photo realistic (better than anything today but avatar). It could pass for a 2011 movie

@adrianlindsaylohan I think what makes these especial effects efective is the combination of practical effects and computer generated images, if you look at the first part you can they used mercury instead of creating it by computer

@charlieiscool1000 no the stupid thing in this movie was to cast one person for the T1000, why have a shape shifter and not use the element of suprise, no the go back to the same person with the same police clothes on everytime, also a fail in part 3.
