As far as your ideas about the fulfillment of prophecy in multiple levels, spiritually, physically, literally. . . I agree with you completely. You stated this very eloquently which is quite a feat, because this is so hard to describe. Our God is one of many levels and depths, as is our scripture. It is wonderful to see someone who wants to learn about scripture from ALL angles, fulfilled but yet to be fulfilled, spiritual and literal. Thanks for the video!
when i think desolation i think zombie. the temple of the Holy Spirit. the Holy Place. when i think abomination of desolation. i think satan where God is supposed to be. satan needs a way into the heart and mind. i think microchip. the microchip is the receiver and a tower is the transmitter. a bunch of demon controlled hosts would be a reason to flee from anywhere. does any of this make sense?
I agree with you about the difference of the physical temple, destroyed around 70 ad, and spiritual temple, which is us, the true believer. If Im correct in what I read in 1 John about the spirit of anti christ which could mean in place of christ, lives in a man. Also note man of lawlessness in 2 Thess. sets himself up in Gods temple, Is Paul talking about the physical Temple or spiritual, (us)people.I realize that all true believers have the Holy spirit, and all false believers have antichrist.
There are many things in Scripture that will find literal physical fulfillment, such as the temple destruction of 70AD. When we speak of lawlessness, we are speaking of something spiritual in nature, as opposed to a specific physical act. I believe that the passage in 2Thess is both physical and spiritual. When Paul speaks of the spirit of antichrist, it includes all non-believers. When he speaks of THEE antichrist to come, it is Satan working thru a man
Look at the mosque, the dome, that is sitting on the temple mount right now in Jerusalem! It could be that a world leader of Islam or christendom will step into that temple, and claim Himself to be the savior of the world. And if that were to happen terrorism wuold be unleashed by insurgents on the Israeli people. And maybe thats why Jesus warned the disciples about that on the Temple mt. So the Abomination that causes desolation may have started thru Islam and that temple in Jerusalem.
Thank you for viewing my video and taking time to comment.
You may be correct in so far as the Idea of Abomination goes, but Islam does not meet all the criteria that is pointed out in Daniel 11:31 and does not fit into the 2300- day time prophecy of Daniel 12:11 that regards the taking away of the "sacrifice." There are many other points of fulfillment that also point to another, much larger power than Islam represents. I can share more regarding those points, if you like.
I am not sure about the question you asked. I believe that the "gathering of the elect" refers to the remnant.
Please notice that I stated that the importance of fulfillment is in the spiritual fulfillment, rather than the "physical" rebuilding of the temple. When we see Satan making war (Rev. 12:17) we are called to gather together (flee to the mountains). This is in accordance with God gathering His elect from the four winds.

Luke tells us that it is Jerusalem that is desolated.
Luke 21:20 And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh
By the early 1800s there were only about 550 souls left in Jerusalem.
Gathering of the elect at the last trump like the bible says.
How would a rebuilt temple be any more of a fulfillment of prophecy than the temple to Jupiter that was built on the temple mount?
