can you try and do a vegan dessert?? i know its kinda complicated because you cant use eggs or butter or milk but i am having a hard time finding substitutes that actually work. please help!?!?! O.o thanks ^_^
I have watched and enjoyed every video on this channel, the idea is new, simple and catchy, however one thing that I have noticed is that there aren't many "snack" type recipes (ie, very simple recipes which take 10 to 20 minutes to make) I hope that there will be more of these type of recipes in the future. Thanks, Monty
Singapore noodles. Shrimp or chicken pad thai. Maybe just a video about making curry paste? Green, red, penang, whichever. Anything curry. Curry is always good.
I recently got back from Ecuador, where plantain is one of the staples. Unfortunately Ecuadorians are the least imaginative chefs of all time, and this usually consisted of a chip or an Empanada (pastry thing); over salted and dense. But i think it's got potential.
Can you think of something more exciting to do with plantain? You can buy it at Waitrose, and it's a high energy so will keep you going through a whole afternoon of lectures!
any thing wheat free and snacky? I've recently discovered that I am wheat intolerant and now I have nothing to eat in a hurry - toast and couscous are out!
Merry Christmas :) I watched all your videos over the last two days or so: bet Christmas present ever. I'm sad that I've finished them all, but I look forward to more videos in 2011! Cheers!
Quick question: do you think you guys can do a Viewer Questions video? Not necessarily about food (although obviously a lot of questions will probably end up being about food), but just a general "Ask the Crew" video where we get to know you guys better? Sort of like the Nerimon video?
Chicken Tikka Masala. I don't know how complicated it is or what... but if its simple enough give it a go! I know it has tandoori chicken (not gonna happen) but the sauce was divine (had this at a restaurant in rotterdam, NL). There were cashews and raisins in it I think 0.o
More baking or snack-y recipes would be great. I'm always looking for yummy but quick things, but my resources are limited, seeing as how I live in a college dorm. :P
Desert recipe's please! I loved the rocky road and baked alaska! (except my mam refuses to believe that a blow torch can be a cooking implement.) I'd love to know how to make an orange sorbet maybe? I got an early present of an electric whisk :D
i love ur choc cake in a mug recipe. i now know it off by heart and make it lods because it is so simple. i was just wondering if you guys could do some more really easy recipes in the new year? i dont mind if they are sweet or saviory just any recieps as simple as the choc cake in a mug. thanks guys :)
Cinnamon rolls! Ive always wanted to be able to make them :) also I love pancakes for breakfast , but they are such effort in the mornings -.- any shortcuts?
When you said "BYEEE" at the end you sounded *so* similar to charlieissocoollike. I was actually confused for a second when Charlie's outro by Stephen Fry didn't immediately follow XD
One of my favorite dishes ever is Posole. If you want an easy recipe you could try the chile-chicken posole recipe on food network. Or you can look up one of the more traditional dishes with pork. The traditional one has more depth to the flavor, but it takes about 2 hours longer to do. And both are delicious!
I'd like to know how to cook dishes, where the main part of it are vegetables and the second meat or starch coming from rice, flour, potatoes etc. = all in all very healthy meals I guess^^
I teach 2nd grade and am always in need of tasty things to pack in my lunch box! bonus points if they are things I can show my kids to try and get them to eat a little healthier too!
I am only young (12) but I can cook risotto, meet balls my special soup and more but there is one thing I can't cook and that is meet!! Mostly that isn't a problem because my mums a veggie and I'm inbetween but its my cooking weekness, thankyou for the all the videos
I would love to learn how to make cookies easily/well...oooh and some more veggie stuff would be great! And sorry to be annoying! but when you mention the oven temperatures in your recipes, could you maybe mention the gas mark too if you know it? :)
Merry Jesus day guys, I really appreciate the way you explain things which are understandable to kitchen illiterate idiots like myself :D
Its thanks to you that ive caught the cooking bug, I cook healthy dinners EVERY DAY, I was tired of eating stuff full of additives, and i feel a hundred times better for it!
@ratherbecrazy Theres a bazillion gluten-free things that are tasty!
If you cant make the cake behave, have you tried adding ground almonds? It really works. Or if you stew some dates and mix them in, it moistens the cake mix (and makes it toffee-ish... nom)
I'm a student and have almost no time to cook during the week, but I really like having hot meals. Can you make some recipes that are relatively inexpensive and require little prep? One pot meals, or meals that I can throw in a dish and shove in the oven are great. Thanks!
My grocery store sells it but it doesn't take right, and the small Italian place next door pretty much just uses whip cream, no sort of coffee flavor. I can't find any tiramisu that tastes as good as the one you get from Olive Garden. Makes me sad.
@sortedfood I do use soy milk at times : ). For regular milk I get a different reaction than people who are lactose intolerant, no milk, cheese or chocolate for me.
