Sanchez should go before Stafford. I really don't think the Lions are going to go with STAFFORD, because he is going to be a serious BUST with the LION'S. Being a Rams fan, I like the Eugene Monroe pick. Right now, it appears to be between Aaron Curry, Jason Smith, and Eugene Monroe. We need alot of help at both positions, but in the end I think it will come down to one of the tackles. Right now, Monroe is more polished and could make an immediate impact, but Jason Smith has more upside and is a better run blocker. We will see how it goes.

Not to mention they have holes in their front seven, and switching to a three-four, they need an anchor at NT (Raji) , bigger ends (Tyson Jackson), or any of the USC linebackers. Everette Brown makes 0 sense. Holes on the roster: offensive tackle, defevensive end, safety, middle linebacker, and depth at runnign back, in that order. Everette brown's speed and size are either going to make him a 4-3 end, or an outside linebacker in a 3-4. The Chargers play a 3-4. They have outside linebackers.

Crabtree to Seattle when they signed T.J. Houshmandzadeh this offseason? I thought Pettigrew was a good idea, haven't thought of it. A good tightend is a great idea with a maturing quarterback and T.O. to stretch the field. But Wells to the Broncos? The Broncos signged Arrington and Buckhalter this offseason, i really doubt they would select a running back, at least not in the first round.

I just hope my team, the Chargers, gets Rey before anyone else does. To be quite honest, though I consider taking James as a second option for ILB, I probably wouldn't take him, looking at him and his defense's performances during the past 3 years, especially during their past 3 BCS bowl games when their defense just broke down. I think if the Chargers took him, James would just become another shitty Matt Wilhelm, especially not stopping the run or bringing pressure up the middle.

Chung is actually one of the safeties I considered. The other option is Clay Matthews. And don't you agree about what I said about James? Especially in those past 3 BCS games, and that game against USC? That should tell you something. Besides, he is more of a pass coverage type and not producing pressure up the middle like Rey does. Also, FYI, Spikes is playing in Florida this year.

Rey would be a much better pick than James. The thing about James is that he doesnt have a style. He doesnt stand out in a specific way that makes me think of him as a great NFL player. Rey is a super aggresive and body throwing style linebacker. He plays in the same pursuing style that Polamalu does but at the linebacker position. James doesnt have any of that really. He is just a fundamentally sound and technical linebacker. He is a safe pick, but the pros to getting him arent that great.

As a Charger fan, I doubt we'll be picking Brown @ 16. Even if Olshansky leaves in FA, we already have 2 solid DEs ready to start in his place (Bingham/Cesaire) We could always pick up another DE for depth in the later rounds. We need to go either OL or DL in the 1st, cause both of our lines have been clearly inconsistent! Even another trade into the 2nd rd should be an option this year, then hopefully we could land Ron Brace as our NT of the future since Raji will be long gone in the 1st!
