hadn't heard this in along time.bought it right when it came out and it sounds just as great as it did forty how many? years ago! funky, bluesy, rockin, jazz. Love Tony on Filles De Killmanjaro by Miles Davis. notes on the reissue cd allude to Miles being fed up with Tony overplaying. Sorry Miles, i love his playing on that album. one of the greats
Jack Bruce joined the group for the second album, ''Turn it Over''. He also sings and plays bass on some of the third Lifetime album , "Ego" but is not acknowledged on the sleeve notes. Saw the four piece band in London in 1970, frighteningly good!

8:00 - 8:24: Out of control, like painting by throwing buckets of paint of all different colors at a canvas -- non-linear chaos. One of the best Lifetime segments recorded. No wonder Santana and his drummer Shrieve would watch in awe when Lifetime lit it up.
awesome :)

The original is without Jack Bruce. I got two records with Tony Williams Lifetime emergency, vol 1 and vol 2. Those vinyls are extremely rare.
