It sucks that CBS moved to WWJ Channel 62 in Detroit, a lowly status. At least WXYZ is still the ABC affiliate on Channel 7. Anyway, like I said, f**k Rupert Murdoch for buying WJBK 2. In St. John's, the CBS affiliate on Cable Atlantic (the local cable system in Newfoundland and Labrador, later sold to Rogers) for a time in the mid-90s after the WJBK switch was WTOL 11 in Toledo, OH.
Fox would still be on channel 50 (WKBD), and CBS wouldn't be on UHF 62. UPN would go to WXON-20 (which would still be WXON), and The WB would go to 31 (or 38).
however, they might want to increase there power on digital because right now, the signal is weak.
you're right on nearly everything, kargaroc: WXYZ (7) was HEAVILY wooed by CBS, and nearly became CBS Detroit, until E.W. Scripps Howard Broadcasting said "affiliate our smaller stations with ABC, or we switch WXYZ to CBS... that fell through, so they then went to WADL (38). WADL made unrealistic demands, so CBS had to settle for buying religious-independent WGPR (62). I agree that Fox should've stayed on the still-stronger WKBD (50)! Fox and New World screwed things up everywhere in 1993!
Do you have WJBK's version of CBS' Great moments from 1982 or the 1984 version of We've Got the Touch? WJBK-TV had local versions of the CBS campaigns from 1981, 82, and 84

Isn't that Catherine Bach from the Dukes Of Hazzard at 0:23? I met her and she is the first celebrity that I met more than once.

Two's the One was the promo WJBK used in the 1980-81 season.
This was from 1981-82.
WJBK used the local version of CBS' Great Moments in 1982-83.
