  • hm I'm a crazy American girl

  • i find i care alot less about the people who die from tsunami because i see people kind of walking to higher ground not seeing the reason to rush..

  • i find i care alot less about the people who die from tsunami because i see people kind of walking to higher ground not seeing the reason to rush...i bet you alot of money that a shit ton of the 90000 people thousands were just walking oblivouse to what was occuring until death

  • I have special leg musculs that can puss me even faster when running on my toes

  • @RnBramwell they viewed it as an unfair economic system....So their "dislike" for slavery had nothing to do with moral objections...they were just annoyed because they felt it was an unfair economic advantage for the South.

And when the declaration was being framed( at this time slavery was still present in the North) the Northern framers had little qualms against it...once it no longer because an important aspect to the northern economy...then they started to dislike it

  • @yobro250 Read the "The Pursuit of Reason: the life of Thomas Jefferson". His own notes put the lie to your claims... which sound like the echoes of Public mis-Education. (I do not mean that rudely, the schools are HORRIBLE on these matters.) Read sound works on John Adams, Hamilton & Washington too.

Finally, teachers largely judge events of 250 yrs ago using modern standards, idly presuming people were as informed & well behaved then as today. That is brutally stupid thinking & teaching.

  • Thank you Hashim for the footage. The world appreciate it, we can see the devastation and feel the intensity.

  • HE GOT BALLS.

  • @xCauTiiOn OF STEEL.

  • Thumbs up if it was December 2004 not 5 :-)

  • It's crazy how people think God provides a good behind everything, when God is just as responsible for wrecking and killing with abandon... 47,000 bodies, as the video reports! Either there is no God, or God is one ghastly Assh_le.

  • @RnBramwell Dude God created the Universe not just humans... And the universe is governed by the Laws of Physics the Tsunami happened becos of an Earthquake simple.. God didn't force us to live where we wanna live.. Humans have the free will to not stay at disaster prone area.. And if they do, it is totally Humans' responsibility to prepare themselves and protect themselves from danger...

  • @gothless You have no idea how the Universe was created. As a kid, you bought a made-up Sky Daddy as an explanation. It is much smarter to accept that the Universe that you KNOW exists is eternal, than to explain it by making up a god-thing you do not know. Besides, where did your God come from, ...Nothing? And what part of Nothing became God, because that Nothing is obviously superior to God. You should Worship that nothing! The rest of what you said is fine.

  • @RnBramwell I dun believe in how ur concept of Sky Daddy.. That is totally a Christian concept... The Universe as stated by Physicists started out by a big bang. But this event wouldnt have happened without an intervention. It is a miracles then, that the Koran written over 1400 years ago spoke of this event. No God did not say let there be light in the Koran like in Genesis. In fact, HE described how the universe was one and He separated it.

  • @gothless The Big Bang is a theory. It arose by speculation over poorly understood cosmological phenomena. It has been known for ~2500 years that Something cannot come from Nothing."

Sky Daddy is not a Christian concept, it simply ridicules supernatural 'beings' & people who are dishonest enough to believe in them.. The Kor an is the most desp icable religious book... those who read Surah 2 & fail to throw it in pig manure is a irrational & wicked. Few moderate Muslims have _really_ read it..

  • @RnBramwell I dunno whats ur beef with Surah 2. if that is your opinion about the Koran well thats just too bad.. Believe it or not there are Muslims, who memorise the Quran letter per letter in its original form not translations, they are called Quran Hafiz. And there are people who are mesmerized by it. Be the message or the beauty of its poetry. It inspired Malcolm X, Muhammad Ali, Cat Stevens, Hamza Yusuf, Yusuf Estes etc. It even inspired Straight Edge movements to a certain degree

  • Respond to this video... Islam also taught God is not like his creation.. The Universe has a beginning with the Bang, and it will soon has an end with the Crunch.. God is not part of His creation therefore not bound to its limits. hmm.. a good analogy for me to understand the relationship of Man and Creator is like the computer.. The Universe is the PC, God is the user who created and uses the pc, while Humans and other creatures are part of the sprites in The Sims games running on the pc

  • @gothless Surah 2 is the 1st real Chapter. It sets up misogyny, bigotry & the killing of infidels. It is deeply irrational—Allah was the one who MADE the infidels into unbelievers, yet he demands Muslims kill them. THAT is irrational, hateful & barbaric. The Muslims who memorize know little else—hence their barbarism. The Islamists you cite are glaringly irrational ideologues. You seem nice: read outside your present box-collection.

Your 2nd comment ignores the God/Creation points I made.

  • @RnBramwell I think i i know the verses u implying. Let me lay it down to you. God was talking about warfare not genocide. He gave permission to Muslims of that time to fight against the Pagans (not Christians or Jews) who persecuted them. The Muslims were raped, tortured and starved under the Pagans. And if God had not established that force can be necessary, as the Quran would say, the evil men men would prevent worship of God in mosques, monasteries and synagogues.

  • @gothless But you are simply finding a nice interpretation in words that very plainly have no such intent. You say you like to read. Rule #1 of reading, is reading to ONLY see what is in the words, never try to bend the words to what you want them to mean (as happens with tons of tedious YouTube arguments) .

It is far more important that you work on the impossibility of there being a God.& that there is such a thing as a rational morality. Try Googling "god ayn rand lexicon"

  • @RnBramwell I dare not bend a single letter of my holy book. I merely telling u the interpretation as told by scholars. Both Muslim and non-Muslims who studied the science of Quranic Interpretation or Tafsir had established that fact. The only ones who refused to listen to Reason are Islamophobes. I respect your choice if u choose to not believe in God. But there are rational arguments by Muslim philosophers which are copied by Christians even. Google Al-Ghazali and Averroes

  • @gothless Okay, you're not 'bending' words, your scholars are. The Koran has NO science, attempts to argue it has —e.g. the U of Toronto Anatomy Professor thought it described fetal development— were easily debunked.

What do you mean by "Reason"... what you show is Faith, the same as a Witch Doctor demands to keep his tribe submissive.

Reason is possible for your own mind, only if you choose to discover it. Don't submit to the 1500 yr old unReason. Al Ghazali wrecked Arab intelligence..

  • @RnBramwell I acknowledge that certain "scholars" had bended Qurans interpretation especially with respects to Jihad. But the sources i took are from credible people. Al Ghazali was a prominent scholar who lived during the height of Islamic Empire. Stupid people cannot contribute in philosophy or science. Even Socrates argued that there had to be at least one Deity.

  • @gothless Well, why is it that after Al Ghazali, the Arab world went into permanent decline?

Why is it that the most numerously successful lives, in any nation in all of history, occurred and occur in the one nation that fully separated Religion and Government, and required that its citizens recognize each other's Right to Life, Right to Liberty, Right to Property? And with little conflict (compared to the World), different religions, ethnic groups, genders & races lived together, safely.

  • @RnBramwell Your view about Muslims is exclusive to Arabs. You do know that Arabs are not the majority of Muslim population right? And that while Arabs after Abbasid Empire spiraled into chaos due to civil wars and Mongol invasion, other Muslims carried the torch of civilization. Like the Moors, the Turks etc. The Taj Mahal for eg was built under the orders of a Muslim ruler who was not Arab but a Mogul. A descendant of Mongols who invaded Muslims at that!

  • @gothless No, I just mention Arabs as the primary example, and center of Islam. (Come on, that was a stupid question.)

The torch was not of civilization. It was of stagnation, caused by Al Ghazali's enhanced commitment against reason in favor of blind faith, against Enlightenment. He is to Islam as Immanuel Kant is to Christianity.

  • @RnBramwell You forgot to mention that the most vocal critic of Al Ghazali in that era was Averroes, a respected figure in the Islamic n Western World. On the contrary of your claim, there was a lot of exchange of ideas in Ghazali's and Averroes' time. If i can put several points of decline in Muslim world, it wud be the sacking of Baghdad and burning of its House of Wisdom, a lot of knowledge was lost, the Industrial Revolution, the Ottomans were slow to embrace it, n Colonialism. there r others

  • @gothless The Arab world was stagnant at that time... but AG led to it. He opposed genuine reason by arguing that faith in Allah is a more fundamental reasoning. Kant did the same thing. As their ideas caught on true reason was increasingly replaced by argument, revolving around faith (e.g. bringing down The House of Wisdom).

"Ghazali bitterly denounced Aristotle, Socrates and other Greek writers as non-believers" (Wiki)

Averroes was much better; had he won we'd study Al Galileo ;-)

  • @RnBramwell And u also seem to conveniently forget that even in the age of Europe Enlightenment and America's Independence, Conflicts did not ceased, wars were still waged, women in America did not have rights to vote till much later. Minorities in Secular nations, driven out by nationalist were persecuted or marginalized. Do i have to remind you of the Holocaust, Segregation, Apartheid, Pogroms, committed by the so-called Enlightened Societies?

  • @gothless Yes, and all of those things were caused by the backward (racist & religious) ideas that Enlightenment minded people in those societies were trying to bring to an end. Enlightenment minded people do not force their ideas on others, but will at times violently defend themselves. They put up with a lot, in the hopes that dishonest and backwards people will smarten up on their own. They only lose, condemned to live in their own barbarity if they do not.

  • @RnBramwell I beg to differ, ideologies are meant for the betterment of society. But the policy-makers are the ones responsible for the effect on the populace. 16000 heads were chopped off during the French Revolution - Even after monarchs were executed and clergy cast aside, America had to go to war to decide if ALL Man are truly equal. How many people suffered under Capitalist Depression or Stalinist Collectivization? Because of this i dun believe in evil religion or ideas. Just Human errors.

  • @gothless My point is proven by history... e.g. the Depression, like today's American mortgage crisis, was caused by government, pursuing a socialist ideology. The U.S. Civil War was not to _decide_ if all men are equal (before the law). The Founders already established that, but the not-so-smart South thought Blacks were inferior. Those things are ideological. The Declaration of Independence established Individual Rights for all men... so it would eventually free Blacks without war.

  • @RnBramwell Correct me if am wrong but the great Depression on the 20's was brought under control only after the government's intervention and introduction of State Owned Companies which were without a doubt Socialist inclined initiative. My point is, every ideology or religion had blood in their hands. One should not be too presumptuous and arrogant when dealing with another. Jesus said something about seeing the speck in others' eyes but ignoring the log in one's own.

  • @gothless Heh, "log in one's eye." :-)

Left leaning academics, translated into high school history texts, argue that FDR helped end the Great Depression. His methods were in line with economist John Maynard Keynes (who influences Obama). Now, it is becoming understood that Keynes was wrong & the GD was extended by ~7 years, because gov't programs do not build wealth, they spend it. To spend it, they take it, from those who make it best.

Google Five Myths About the Great Depression in WSJ etc.

  • @RnBramwell "but the not-so-smart South thought Blacks were inferior"

It had nothing to do with that...The South was very economically invested in Slavery...the north was not...so the South fought to keep the institution of Slavery legal while it gradually faded out of prominence in the North..However most northern founders had no problems at all with Slavery...And most of the Northerners who eventually began to disapprove of Slavery did so not due to moral objections...but because

  • @RnBramwell To be Hafiz takes alot of effort and discipline. With all due respect, not even the Pope is able to recite the Bible in Hebrew and Greek from Genesis to Revelations...

  • @gothless You are ~27 yrs old, and quite smart enough to examine your own thinking. You can examine exactly how you know if there is a god, and look to see what makes it real or merely someone else's claim and perhaps your wish. If you do not do it, then you are bluntly evading reason.

It takes a lot of effort to understand even a part of rational Science. Memorizing the Ko ran or Lord of the Rings may be hard work, but all one gains is a firm grasp of a fantasy

  • @RnBramwell My age does not denotes my intelligence. At 17 Joan of Arc outwitted the English while at 60 Tessio made a stupid decision to betray Michael Corleone. I already told you I use the analogy of a Computer for my personal understanding. Eg, the Creation and Creator are different. Well you are not in the pc are you? The User knows the coding of a program but the running program can never know the genetic make up the user unless the User creates a program for it You will get idea...

  • @gothless I was not commenting on your intelligence, but on your knowledge. Ideas held on faith are NOT knowledge. I get your computer analogy, but analogy is not evidence of truth. As I wrote, there is no Creation & no Creator... they are completely impossible. Why do you refuse to respond to my comment about that? (I know why...but will you admit it?)

By the way, Muslim scholars use taqqiyah, even to convince students like yourself, because until you submit, completely, you are their target

  • @RnBramwell I stand firm by my position that there is a Creator because I cannot fathom the arguments that it is impossible. Analogy is the method by the metaphysical philosophers of the olden days used to ponder the meaning of life.Taqiyya is concealment of faith in the face of threat to life and property. How is it related to our posts?...

  • @gothless Taqiyya (so many spellings) is concealment of faith *to convert or defeat unbelievers*. Different sects of Islam, use taqiyya on each other on the idea that the other sect is not true Islam. Within a sect, one member will use it on another, with the same view. This is well known.

  • @RnBramwell I think you mixed up with Takfir. The act of denouncing people as heretics or unbelievers. My view is Takfir's not a matter to be taken lightly. Because if the people who we used against is right in God's eyes, the sin of Blasphemy would be ours to bear! As long as a person acknowledges the basic tenets of Islam like, One God and Muhammad the Final Messenger, and acknowledges the teachings of Quran and Sunnah, it will be alright. Takfir by Wahabis are eg of bully tactics to silence

  • @gothless That of course varies, as my comment allows; I have no problem with your interpretation. What I despise is the indoctrination of children (e.g. Madrassah's Koranic chanting) & the threat of violence, & actual violence against those who disagree.

Christians indoctrinated children too: Google — allpoetry "a little boy lost" —. Yes they burned the boy. Albion refers to England. Blake realized that the religious freedom of America was the civilized future, especially for children.

  • @RnBramwell Indoctrination of Madrassahs?.. What about the Public School? The National Anthems, the Flag raising etc, are all as brainwashing... Heck, in American Dollars it was written, "In God we Trust".. And as atheist shouldnt u say something abt this too?

  • @gothless I agree about N. American public schools (which are god-awful), but they are geniuses of free thought compared to madrassahs. You have, indirectly, hit on an important point. A culture is driven by the ideas that are most common amongst its people. There are always glaring exceptions to a trend, making it tough to see the essential movement. America was once great, but no longer holds the views of its Founding. Indeed, its foreign policy has been wildly unAmerican for ~100 years.

  • @gothless Well of course, but to whom? America (I am not American) is the best political system ever, but is so loaded with faults, and has been so corrupted by its politicians that it is nothing like the nation its Founders sought. It has the seeds of freedom, more than any other nation, and therefore deserves defending... but only its past must be defended, not its present administrations.

  • @RnBramwell Then you could say every democratic country has the best system ever, just with many 'faults'. America is nothing special, Ireland has more freedom.

  • @YourBreakfast Not at all. Only America's Founders established inalienable Individual Rights constitutionally. Irish & Scottish freedoms are less clear. America began as a Republic, using democratic means to elect representatives. Democracy is rule by the mob, which the Founders were seeking to avoid. Ever since, politicians have sought to be elected by appealing to that mob, and have persistently distorted constitution language to provide one group a benefit that is a liability to others.

  • @RnBramwell So what your saying is, the Founders were seeking to avoid using democratic means to elect representatives, yet they sought a Republic?

  • @YourBreakfast Not quite. They were seeking to avoid using democratic means **to establish laws**. The word "Republic" became vague over the last century (witness USS_R_). In 1776 it meant "A constitutional form of government in which the head of state is an elected or nominated president." The American Constitution was specific in (attempting to) limit government power to protecting Individual Rights (as opposed to "human rights") FROM government. Their wording was not always 'airtight'..

  • @RnBramwell "like the nation its Founders sought. It has the seeds of freedom, more than any other nation, and therefore deserves defending... but only its past must be defended, not its present administrations."

The founders were a bunch of lying hypocrites.Look at their treatment of Women, Native Americans, and Slavery.Hell the Europeans abolished Slavery 30 years+before the Americans did and Women were granted the right to vote earlier in most European countries..than in America

  • @yobro250 In any culture one will find a range of actors on any given principle. The Founders were among the first to give single women voting rights, way ahead of England France Spain etc. The key Founders opposed slavery from day 1 but could not stand alone without the South. Jefferson's slaves chose to stay with him, as slaves, to be better off. The Indians were NOT civilized, that notion is Leftist, anti-American revisionism. I do not think you know your own nation's history very well.

  • @gothless "I cannot fathom..." is honest.

Can you honestly explain to yourself (Cyhety) *how* you got the idea of a god, named "Allah"?

Cyhety how any human knows the true beginning of the Universe, it's a BIG place!

Cyhety why the Universe CAN'T just be what it is without a Creator?

Cyhety how the god came to exist in the first place?

Cyhety why you need to explain the creation of the Universe but not of the Creator?

Because Mohammed, Jesus & Abraham & All believers have not.

  • @RnBramwell Allah is one of his names. If i feel like it, I pray to Him with Yahweh as name. Names are irrelevant to monotheists. The "theory" of Big Bang was there in the Quran 1400 years ago, u mean to tell me, those brilliant secular minds plagiarized a "barbaric" theology. Coincidence or Fate? I am not well versed with mysticism, but the question of Divine Essence has always been discussed among the Sufis and the Philosophers. Feel free to look it up.

  • @RnBramwell My personal standing is that God is not like anything we can think of cos He is truly above the qualities of the material universe. If universe has a beginning, then the Creator who is above that quality has none. In accordance to the Big Bang theory something happened to this mass that caused it to expand. And the Quran affirmed it. U may say Big Bang is still a theory, but so is Evolution which i dun completely disregard by the way. PS i really enjoy discussing/learning wif u :)

  • @gothless You wrote, "God is not like anything we can think of cos He is truly above the qualities of the material universe." Every religious person falls into this trap. They justify God by saying He cannot be comprehended. If He cannot be comprehended, then by those words, then *you cannot know his existence*. You have just admitted that god, allah, jahweh etc are made-up fantasies.

    Pls think that _right through_.

  • cool i am rich now

  • if he was eourpean he would make a fortune of such movie.

  • I would like to incorporate yr video in my videoblog of Indonesia. May I? can I have your code?

  • @mohammdBaQeR why u will not reply again? because u dont want to talk with me?

  • @OrSadof nah its just pointless to talk over the internet :D

  • @sarangheyojj

WTF are you talking about? Did you saw the power of the wave? proly, if he downed in the water he supposed to die too, you must tell why dont the powerfull countries didnt come as fast as they can to take those people out of there!

You can say whatever you want easily, but you weren't there to feel the terror!

So do not judge the man's attitude!!

  • i hope all the arab who racists got their houses destroyed!

  • @OrSadof Arabs in indonesia ????

  • This man is a big joke, couldent have put down the camera to help people. I would have give my life to someone that was in tubble. this man should be ashamed. Fucking attention seaking idiot.

  • @environmentinfocus Uh dude, did you even watch the footage? It would have been suicide to go down into the flow. I doubt you would have done that. BTW, the irony of you writing "seaking idiot" is not lost on anyone who is intelligent.

  • @environmentinfocus May be you have not faced real disasters.

  • lol mormon advertisments...

  • Notice how their were people trying to drive in the street instead of climbing up high.

No wonder so many people died

  • IF I could go back in time I would set up HD cameras all over the place and film everything and sell the footage and make millions !

  • At the beginging the guy says ''he risked his life'', then a few moments later he says he was up on the building with everyone else for refuge.

  • BEING AN INDONESIAN AS IT MEANS BEING HUMILIATED, POOR AND STUPID WHILE THE CORRUPT GOVERNMENT GETTING RICH AND RICHER!! NOW, LETS FREE ALL THE STATES UNDER THE INDONESIAN OCCUPATION, SO WE CAN HAVE A BETTER AND RESPECTED LIFE!! LET'S FIGHT FOR FREEDOM!! - ACHEH-SUMATRA NATIONAL LIBERATION FRONT

  • @CuakWali Well thats somethings that's happening all around the world.... Not just Indonesia

  • ارجعوا الى ربكم

  • if they're gonna advertise make the ads fun to watch. To me it's just 10 seconds of my life i'll never get back

  • Fuck off with your petty irrelevant commericals YouTube!!

  • how did i get here?

  • stupid

its not 19.000 life it's 25.000 (seriously i'am from indonesia)

  • hope someone saved our arse if it happened here, thats all i got to say people are people regardless where they come from.its human to help others in need

  • poor people

  • Umm, I got an advertisement for a Mormon surfer before watching this. That certainly wasn't needed...

  • 26 December 2004 man

    not 2005

  • why am i watching this?

  • Shocking stuff o_O

  • In spite of all these disaster happenings, most of the people still engaged in gathering the resources beyond the need, exploiting the people based on caste, religion, gender, financial status; exhausting the natural resources thereby other living creatures just for the sake of identity through useless research project and unlawful business.... I think to make these people to learn the lesson, probably still more disastrous natural calamity is utterly required for this unique green earth!

  • o shit

  • The outside assistance is really symbolic!

  • horrible!

  • Go Yankees

  • 2004! not 2005

  • So many oil wealthy Muslum countries and none spare money or efforts to help these poor Muslums? It would be nice if these people who do recieve aid remembered who actually showed up and lent a hand. I remember the U.S. Navy there helping out, will anyone else?

  • @liam13coins are you kidding those rich Muslim country's are paying for their 100 Princes to live in palaces and given luxury's, in their minds they are superior to the rest of us humans. A lot of people trash the U.S but when ever their is a natural disaster, if help is asked from them they are always their to help. I'm Canadian i hope our government buys those two amphibious assault ships, with those ships we can help just as much.

  • @Baseshocks Hi, I dont no why u think about the imaginary boundaries made by us 4 the sake of our own convenience & existence. At least for now think about our own physical boundary i.e. our body system. V all just one like al other living creatures, nothing is special. When V think broad no one disaster hurt bcause every creature bear the loss equally. If V think about our existence, natural V dominate. when the disaster occur, naturally v loose more. Bing a consumer don't talk about "HUMANITY"

  • @annaiahramesh i have no clue what you are talking about....... my issue is with country's like Saudi Arabia. 2000 princes draining the economy, so they can live in luxury yet they do nothing. so what happens when the oil runs out in Saudi Arabia, well the princes will move to other country's where they have investments sill living in luxury as Saudi Arabia crumbles.

  • Some of the murders by the German BND known to the public:

  • A tsunami is not something you can easily run from and without area wide alert and notification system death is a certainty. Sad. As they rebuild, an alert system should be in place or these scenes could repeat. I hope that in time they can rebuild and return to some sense of normalcy.

  • Its so wrong to put adverts at the beginning of a disaster like this.

  • hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

  • 0:28 did the man just say these bitches

  • And later they're wondering how come that so many people die in tsunami when they're just standing and watching like it's some kind of show...unfortunataely this is a reality :(

  • @sarangheyojj Just think of it as nature weeding out the mentally inferior from humankind. We want the species to continue by way of the best genetics, and those that would gawk as a wall of water five meters high coming at them at fifty miles per hour do not fall into that category.

  • @sarangheyojj TOTALLY TRUE !!! So many times people are really stupid like this total idiot in his blue van at 0:14 he's like "YAY i got a van and i don't give a shit about tsunami"

    Seriously ....

  • @sarangheyojj what are they supposed to do? Jump in the fucking water, grab some survivors and fly to safety? I'm sure that many people helped each other that day. You're belittling their efforts with your moronic comment.

  • @canadabuon: bla..bla..bla, rubish talk...

  • Lol im not sure but i think i saw a guy laughing and pointing at the tsunami coming then when it came close he started crying and walking away

  • so fucking sad

  • tsunami shit run why walking/////????

  • Wasn't it December 2004?

  • they was looking at him taking the photo by camera and when its came to close they start run and cry ????

  • narrator is bear grills

  • the guy in the blue van is dead

  • If i saw a huge wall of water coming at me... id have a huge wall of water running down my pants lol. not to mention shitting bricks.

  • bright BLUE toilets??? that guy is colourblind lol

  • wrong building materials, could be faster, but not that way.

  • 2631 likes? wtf is wrong with you?

  • They as Slow as youn now what

  • O yes, god did it so we would know how powerful he was. What a load of bullshit!! Fucking stupid ass religion. The guy is the Indonesian pat robertson, what a putz.

  • @sickofgod69 Hateful!

  • I look at the top two comments and hang my head in shame. Why are commenters on YouTube so...mentally not up to par? Sure, it's easy to trashtalk the people in the video because of their reaction, when one has no idea about things like "being in shock because you are probably going to die" or something. And of course, it's "the governments" fault (which government is obviously not important).

  • Piss off with these stupid advertisements we pay enough money for this internet as it is why do they need to bombard us with adverts i only skip or i mute the speaker if i cant skip so there

  • @555gypsie Well then youtube could do something else to generate revenue to help run the servers and everything else. Charge the users to access the video's. so put up with a 12 second ad or pay 5 bucks on top of what you pay for your internet.

I don't like ads just as much as you but I do understand why they are there.

  • Comment removed

  • @555gypsie Ever see the price of a server? As well the room that it takes up to run something like this? How about the energy needed to run those as well maintenance staff, programers/coders, support staff...list gets bigger and bigger.

The price does go up, especially when buying newer equipment, as well energy costs do not stay the same, also wages do go up etc... It all does add up being more then when they first started.

  • @ThyBountyHunter i think you know what question im going to ask next ,your setting me up for a ko ,how then does youtube have anything to do with the service provider which takes money from us

  • @555gypsie Not trying to set you up in anyway, The ads that we see here pay Youtube which in turn is used to run everything that i have stated previously.

You were the one that mentioned your service provider and why should you have to watch ads in that sense. They are 2 different things. If youtube did not have ads they would need to charge us, if you want to watch stuff here then you would need to pay to access it, or you could not pay and not access it.

  • @555gypsie ok thanks for clearing it up for me

  • @555gypsie but youtube might lose some fans when if they were to make a bbc copy of there service because BBC is the only company which does not allow any advertising

  • i think BBC should make a copy of you tube then there would be no advertising because BBC is one of the only companies which does not allow advertising

  • @555gypsie fuck u

  • @555gypsie You and 12 other people are retards...

  • @biglogonafrog retard is a gay American term for people like you

  • @biglogonafrog cheesey term for your mothers V J J

  • @555gypsie Without ads, you wouldn't be able to watch videos on Youtube. They hardly even make a profit. Get over it.

  • @555gypsie That what pays for youtube. Hosting so much videos cost millions and youtube aint a charity for the internet. Obviously you sound too take everything for granted.

  • @artist4immortality yes ur right, but im sure the owners of youtube have lots of money to give

  • @bigboys797 Actually last fiscal year youtube didnt do any profit. Youtube lives because of those commercial.

  • @artist4immortality Really? wow then i guess ur right

  • @artist4immortality you fool, youtube operated for 6 years without forcing an add on anyone, and unless made a partner youtube is the only one who sees money and none of which goes to producers and channel owners.

so I say forget that noise ill thumbs down every video with an add and flag everyone that shows an add irrelevant to the videos content...Stop being a sheeple.

  • @TheEmarbe Alright the whole point of youtube is putting video on the internet for free. In return you don't get anything back unless you start a partnership. The money they make on your videos pays for hosting that video. And ad gives 0.1 - 0.3 cent per click... you think they get rich that way. Tell me how much time you pressed on a ad on youtube. I personally press on a ad more or less 5 times. Let's just say they dont do alot of money over me. And remember the bandwith they pay

  • @artist4immortality So by your sense they would have been broke the first 6 years of use, and since they were making TONS of cash off the old system of not forcing us to watch ads they are nothing but seriously banking off us now and I hate having to watch ads. I will purposely change the channel to avoid ads on TV and without that option on here Ill just go with thumbs down for now on or stop watching channels all together. Not my loss.

  • @TheEmarbe Alright stop being on your high horse and go check the appriximation on how much money youtube as been making in the last fiscals years and tell me that rolling on gold. Youtube is profitable but it's certainly not doing too good. They were doing so bad before they had to be bought by google. Obvious with the addition of ads, youtube is back in action but not the best business plan.

  • @artist4immortality stop acting smart you fucking retarded chilesian cock sucker, i hope you fucking die by a tsunami like this. retarded immigrant

  • @ILikeRedbuII So your are retarded and racist how amazing! The two most common element in the universe put together to create the most advance moron known to man kind. Well I'm gonna get back to my rich job and you to your very poor job since being smart is a bad quality to you... I'm sorry for you but at the same time, your just a moron why should I care.

  • @555gypsie firefox + AdBlockPlus and done no more ads

  • oh yep just drive into it, idiot!

  • I would of thought the media whom had got this footage would of paid big money for the footage just like magazines do etc.... shown to millions he still does not have a house?
