i prefer coldplay, but really, as with any music, it has to do with preference. if you do like linkin park, you should check out fort minor, its the same singer but more hip hop, i like it better.

What's happening is Chris Martin said that they are releasing another full-length LP at the end of 2009. They are completely engulfed in doing as much as they can next year, cause that's how they treat any year. And they are changing their sound up again, so it won't sound like VLV. Chris said he just wants to do everything he can before he turns 33, which is in 2 years. I dont know why but you know how Chris is!

I love all of their music. It always seems to be different every album. We all wish that they would make music like something before at some point but Coldplay will continue to evolve and change and maybe one day they'll go back to something they've done before, but all of their music is brilliant in my ears.

Finally, someone who actually grasps it. It is true, they are a diverse band, open for change. Every type of sound they make will be absolutely beautiful, because they are capable of that. They are capable of satisfying every ear out there, making everybody happy. I prefer this version of their music; my best friend prefers the heavier stuff. But we both will love them forever. Coldplay is that type of band, and I pray to God that when I get older, my kids will be able to share in their magic.

In my opinion theyre better than ever nowadays, the more experimental stuff might not be what everyone likes but they know how to return to their roots when they need to. There are a few viva la vida songs which wouldnt sound out of place on parachutes, like 'now my feet wont touch the ground', but some songs on parachutes could have been written last week, like shiver. coldplay arent evolving, theyre just hanging the balance of which types of songs they write, dont lose faith in them just yet..
