yeah every one says all i would have restored that but when you try to sell them no one buys them and its easier to just scrap them its guarenteed money with out the hassel.
Yes I crush classics all the time as well. No one to buy them, I've advertised on craigslist in every major city including the US.. its been a waste of time. SO I agree, rebuilding old shells is something of the past. I also agree, its a major shame.. they are worth more to me in weight
yeah no kidding its such a shame.. these are just recent stories.. but i have scrapped so many classics in the past few years its not even funny.. it is i believe a direct result of a bad economy.. no one rebuilds cars in toronto anymore.. and i don't have space to hold on to them
actually people saying they would fix up old cars is a thing of the past.. I was sitting on about 4 classic car shells.. for example 59 corvette convertible, 55 chev, 57 chev and 63 cadillac.. I tried and tried to sell them via ads and phone calls etc.. I couldnt find a single person to buy them so I had no choice, I had to crush them.. I got no room to keep them.. so it appears that the economy or something is happening.. and great old cars people would love to fix are disappearing FAST.
