gracias ! muy bueno! i love spanish, can i ask though is this south-american spanish? and if so do you know if south american is far different to castillian? i need want to learn a bit of castiallian you see as i live in europe : ) look foward to your reply, hasta luego me amigo!!
"yes most would say they are two different dilalects but they are similar, the only difference is the pronunciation of c,s,z they tend to pronounce it as ""th"" the color blue, we say azul, we pronounce it as aSul, but they pronounce it as aTHul.
also they have there own words we dont use in Latin spanish like Tarta=cake, we say Pastel=cake, they use them both
also they have Vosotros. its another informal tu, example tu hablas{laino}
i love ur video,i m romanian and i can speak Spanish fluently kinda learnt it from VT and in the street (slang) but my writing skills r not as good as speaking so thanks for ur videos they re very useful
"Hahahaa I am from finland and hablo el espanol :)
But you sound just like.. I dunno like from australia? You have soo good english.. Oh yeah ur from florida... But is me llamo also mi nombre es 'cause nombre is name and es is and mi is my.... Just wondering"
"" Usted "" Is for Elders,And people we don't know that well ... and "" Tu "" Is for people we know,and apparently for several people .. and only "" ti "" is used for ONE person .. but then .. "" Estoy .bein , tu? "" .. Hmm.. is that supposed to be "" Estoy being. .TI ?"" ..
I'm part spanish but i don't speak it fluently, ..so i;m confused...
What about using "usted" instead of "tu"? I am just beginning to study spanish and get the impression it is more respectful to use the formal version of (you). I imagine that just starting out, the people you will be communicating with are not going to be close friends and family. So now I'm confused. (Sorry if you've already addressed this in another comment)
"finally, someone here who takes teaching seriously... there are alot of people who I help that are just starting. However, I can only help them via email.. this video should help them with their pronunciation..
this will help you with the drug cartels in New Mexico.

Sorry when I said words i meant slangs. A good comparison would be British English vs American English.
KatiRainolds 1 year ago
Well it is not the same if words have different meanings.
ErinKulsap 1 year ago
No its the same, but the accents are different and some words have different meanings.

'ti' is the same as 'tú' but we'll use it after most prepositions (a, de, sobre, desde, etc);
(we use 'mí' (w/ accent mark) instead of 'yo' after these also)
con is an exception: contigo = with you; conmigo = with me
que is often thought to do the same thing as the rest, but it's a conjunction: que tú (than you); que yo (than me)
Hope that clarifies it...
You might have heard 'y a ti' ? for ¿y (a ti) te gusta?

maestro guapo.
it's kinda easy to learn Spanish cause I'm a Filipino. Most of our words which is tagalog was derived from Spanish.
Believe it or not it is more easy to count in Spanish and English here in the Philippines than in tagalog
Gracias, maestro.
you're a good teacher. I learned a lot from you.
Once again, muchas gracias for sharing your knowledge.
