I can stretch my right leg fine, and I used to be able to do the splits when I was younger (before I quit gymnastics). But now I have problems with my left leg, as the back of my leg (below my knee) hurts when I stretch it. Sorry I wasn't sure which muscle it was..
@thuylanortiz I don't know if this is what your talking about but you can do gymnastics what ever age you are it dose not matter but if you want to be really good you should start at a real young age like 2-5 years of age but if you mean like can you start when your 10 you can! You just might be far behind for your age and it will probably be a lot harder for you than it would be for someone who started at like 3 or something
@thuylanortiz you can start at any age. I'm going to start soon and I'm 16. I might wait till I'm 18 to do the adult classes. 10 is a good time to start

People should shut up about her not being so flexible. I find it annoying when I click on videos and the person performing these is completely flexible anyway. she isn't perfect beacuse this video is not for professional gymnasts! it is easy to be shown by the champion of the gym but it is easier for us to see it by a person who is not that flexible so we see what she does to do the split for example. a very flexy girl would just do the split and we won't see how did she get there...

Horrible stretching. Didn't even stretch the hamstrings (which if you pull the hamstrings you are out of any type of physical activity for at least a month). Horrible back posture during her "split". Absolutely disgusting split to be honest. Her back leg wasn't even straight he pelvis wasn't to the ground and at least the girl knew to point her toe.

Someone help, I tried to stretch my leg and now my knee will not work right. I heard a pop, now my knee just turns instead of bending. I don't know what to do, and every time i make some food, it does not correspond to the oncoming millennial of chewbaccas return to the nebula in starship 9.

Someone help, I tried to stretch my leg and now my knee will not work right. I heard a pop, now my knee just turns instead of bending. I don't know what to do, and every time i make some food, it does not correspond to the oncoming millennial of chewbaccas return to the nebula in starship 9.

@gabriellassh my advice from me is to always push yourself. if splits hurts just keep pushing yourself down.next time your do splits you will be down more

im a cheerleader and u for sure need to be flexible cuz it helps with ur jumps, tumbling and stunting (if ur a flyer) so make sure to stretch out!

you must be really anorexic if you are 5 ' 11 and you only weigh 90 lbs you got negative because every one knows u are lying when you are tall you're body needs more wheight to be healthy that's why short people unless they are fat wiegh less than tall people who are pretty thin. next time sound a little better when you want to lie be more convincing

Actually, you dont get a accurate stretch unless the stretch is held for @ least 30 seconds.
