@Toadoe7 Vocal fry is a different technique then false chord/ another part of your throat. Vocal fryeasier to get good at then false chord, but not nearly as satisfying. A band that vocal frys is August Burns Red (though he's not great at it), while a band that False Chords is Suicide Silence. The reason I say that the vocalist of ABR isn't great is because you are able to identify that it's a vocal fry, while a better vocalist it would be harder to distinguish. False chords are just more fun

Because I'm at a level where I can false chord, and vocal fry, both comfortably, lows and highs, with the ability to shape my throat in different ways to make different noises. I'm also able to transition from cleans to screams fluidly in both vocal styles (southernish vocals) But I can't do overtones!
