Dave use to be good but he sucks now because he only cares about how good he looks on stage. They need Sammy back, he at least attempts to sing how it should sound. I think they rest of the band sounds fine regardless if Michael is with them or not, Wolfie is fine...

As great as they are,they just were not hitting on all cylinders on this tour.The arthritis is begining to effect evh's playing.He's not as clean and precise as he once was.Hopefully,by next tour he'll be better.

F the haters....this is by far one of the biggest reunions in rock history, but the younger people like their grunge and alternative rock and never appreciated the sweet ass music of classic VH. Yeah they are older now, but Ed sounded better than ever and Dave was even focusing more on his vocals and less with his martial arts show like he did in the 80s. Sammy robbed this band of some of its prime years...when HE made it a pop band.

Van Halen is way better with Dave. With the exception of the album 5150, the Sammy era just can't stand up to the classic VH. Mean Streets is my favorite song, the album guitar tone was simply amazing.

Wow... someone doesn't know much about Van Halen do they? First and foremost, the video you're watching is of a purely "Diamond Dave" Era concert. This music is hard rock all the way. The only time Van Halen got remotely CLOSE to pop was with Sammy Hagar, and even then did they still manage to pop out some hard rocking tunes. Backstreet Boys, NSNYC, Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus= Pop Bands. ACDC, Van Halen, Led Zeppelin, ZZ Top= Hard Ballsy Rock!

Every band is going to have those few songs that can appeal to everyone, not just the die-hard guitar gurus. Sure, you can consider them close to pop. But there is still the essence of hard rock with ed's guitar work. And Jump is the only song of those four with keyboards or synths.

Really, as far as bonafied pops songs, that's about it, with about two or three other songs up for debate. Have you ever listened to I'm the One, On Fire, Atomic Punk, You're No Good, Bottoms Up, Outta Love, Light Up the Sky, D.O.A., Fools, Romeo Delight, Take Your Whiskey Home, Dirty Movies, Sinner's Swing and others?
