the way the robots are programmed (i.e. to play against other robots) means that they cannot actually 'see' any of the human players, they can only see the ball. They would do a lot better if they could see the opposition :)

thats correct... they could then do some extrapolation about the most probable trajectory of the opponent and then they could get the other team... 2100??? They could even sense the Thoughts of human players using the body temperature, puple size and heartbeat and skin color and sweat... and other parameters
