Lol turtlebeaches break easily ..they aren't durable guys maybe these in his vid sound good but they will break like all the others do..

Just buy astros if you have that money or the new tritton warheads.

I'm on the fence between astro a40 and tb xp500.. I tried dpx21's and felt they were cheap in build quality but sounded good albeit a little too bassy for me.. my biggest concerns for the xp500s are 1) xba adapter, ive seen reviews that peeps on other end of chat cant hear you well and 2) rf interference. My wireless router will not be in the same room as my gaming setup. Any info you can give would be appreciated

@TheYostinator Ok I will tell you, the xba adapter does sometimes make your voice slightly softer, so you simply just got to the custom preset make and turn up your mic volume. And if your Wireless Router is no where near this thing, you definitely should be okay.

Thanks manny il try moving it away cos it is next to my router which is new it's virgin 50mb and with the Bluetooth I don't have anything which is Bluetooth it's when I turn in the adaptor I get a beeping noise

@Kehoe3131 This usually isn't a common problem but you may want to A: buy a new router or B: move your router a little farther away from the RF Transmitter. As for blue tooth you might want to turn any other blue tooth devices off

I got the p11's today for 50 bucks. Pretty happy with it, but i think later i want something thatd work for both of my consoles, light, and not complicated to install. I cant decide if tritton or turtle beach is better, so im watching some reviews...i am currentaly undescisive

@hioeo Well hey man Ive been there done ALL of that! If your looking for lightweight go turtlebeach all the way, then again if you want something very sturdy Id recommend waiting for the 2012 tritton series if you dont mind wires I highly recommend the DPX21 they are very lightweight and barely noticeable, not to durable but very lightweight and also have amazing sound quality in comparison to the P11's. If your looking for wireless I again recommend turtle beachs, PX5s or XP500's to be specific

how do you setup the 7.1 on the xbox?

@NVoutsas Well it depends, if you have the first series f xbox's then you need to buy and adapter, usually located at GameStop, $5-20 this adapter has a optical digital input, then you simply put the usb into the Xbox and your done! the 7.1 dolby digital surround sound is automatically set as the audio output.
