Also please note that some of the things is showed in the video are only possible using plugins that are not (yet) available (waveforms, library management...)
In Ableton Live you set the tempo just after importing a song. Therefore pitch control is automatically done. Cueing is totally possible, however then you need of course an audio interface with more than 1 output. The whole thing is much more complicated to set up than CDJs, but gives you way more possibilities than a CD player. You can grab the Ableton demo and play around for free and see if you like it.
The interface itself was created in the JazzEditor, yes. The whole control part of it (somehow like MVC, model being Ableton Live, View the Lemur and Controller my own app) is external. The waveform data is obtained seperately as Live does not deliver anything like that.
This project is at its very beginning, meaning it only works under very strict conditions which keeps me from sharing it, however I do my best to help others to do similar things.
that's really nice and amazing! will you post this sometime?

are the tracks BPM's edited before hand? what are you using to que?
MorningUnlimited 3 years ago
Ableton Live plays the tracks, so yes... the BPM automatically match.
Can you specify what you mean with "to que"? "To queue"?
I guess most of your questions will be answered if you click on "more info" right to the video.
