Attention Christians: Just before the flood story, Genesis 6:3 tells us that God limited human lifespans to 120 years. But it wasn't until after the death of Moses that people stopped living beyond that. And even then, there were some exceptions (like Job, who lived 140 years). So why were people able to live past the age limit that God himself placed on them?
The problem is creationists will always say things like "god has his ways to make things happen" because of their faith, and there's really no way to go around that. You can analyze the shit out of the entire bible and other holy books, but it won't make a single difference to them. It's like someone saying 1 + 1 = 3 because he is confident about it. How do you react to that other than just shrug and say he's wrong?
Regards the gathering of the animals i guess the Creationists would argue that the animals were already there and only migrated after the flood to the places where they are today. However, that only stems the flood (ahem) of absurdities about this obvious myth. We find NO fossils of pouched animals anywhere between MT Ararat and Australia and what a coincidence that all pouched animals voted to go to Australia. Surely one species (oops kind) would have opted for the South of France.
@TheAist OK yeah, opposums & i believe they do have pouches but North America has mostly non pouched animals. So we can ask "Why does have Australia have ONLY pouched mammals (the Dingos came over with the Aborigines)? Did all the non pouched mammals say " Don't fancy Australia. Let's leave it to the pouched ones"?
We can also still ask the question "Why there are no fossil records of pouched animals between Mt Ararat & Australia (or for possums between Mt Ararat & North America)?"
I have heard biblical apologist speculate that volcanoes could be useful for getting the animals to the ark. The volcanoes supposedly hurled the animals for Noah to catch.
Strange that the bible doesn't mention Noah running around with a giant net trying to catch a polar bear incoming at near supersonic speed. It must have been quite a sight.
@henriktor ive never heard a volcano is combo with noah, youre right thats just ridiculous. polar bears, penguins ...kangaroos, riding on a blast, nice!

im not even going to begin reasoning away all these "points" youve attempted to put out there, you wouldnt listen nor understand anyway. i can see by scanning them, what level of ignorance im faced with. alot of it is answered in pt 2 of this video anyway. 1 thing is for sure, ignorance seems to be bliss from what i can tell from your bravado. must be nice, i choose intellectual honesty
8. The earth wouldn't really have to absorb all the excess water because water not only freezes, and stays in liquid form, but it also evaporates... LOL
6. It doesn't say that they were to take 40 days worth of food, it says they were to take food for all those that would be on the ark (Gen 6:21). You're reading into the Scripture what is not actually there.
7. The window that was to be made wasn't a square cubit, but rather it was to be made one cubit down from the roof, it may have actually gone around the whole top of the ark - keeping the air clean, one cubit below the roof. Again, you're reading into the Scripture, preconceived ideas.
5. cont. Obviously, you wouldn't wait until 8 AM to start getting ready for work... if you're like me you make sure lunch is made the night before, and you get up early so you have enough time to do everything that needs to be done in order to make it to work on time. I figure God is smarter than both of us put together. So He had animals coming along way ahead of time to ensure they'd be ready when the ark was. And remember, this was before the days of Peleg (Gen 10:25).
@Thistlesifter220 if god is smater than you then why not make it right in the first place.I mean he supposta see into the future right? So it knew it was going to be wrong but made it anyway.Wow that sounds kinda stupid ta me
5. Consider, when you go to work in the morning, if you have to be there by 8 AM do you wait until 8 AM to start packing your lunch, taking a shower, brushing your teeth, and then go to the gas station to make sure you can make it to work? If it took Noah 100 year to build the ark, wouldn't a God who had enough knowledge to create the universe be getting the animals ready while Noah was building?
4. If God told them to gather 7 of the clean animals, don't you think He would have told them which ones were clean? Besides, they actually did know which animals were clean, to think they didn't is to be in error. Remember, Noah was a preacher of righteousness (2 Peter 2:5). He walked with God, and knew His ways. Also, God showed which animals were clean in the garden when He made Adam & Eve clothes (Gen 3:20). The idea that the law didn't come around until Moses is a fallacy (Gen 26:4-5).
2. cont... Rev 20 talks about a time when all these people will be resurrected, so these children will be okay.
3. The ark was actually closer to 1.5 million cubic feet, roughly the equivalent of 533 standard stock cars used by modern railroads. The ark would have had to hold 35,300 animals. If the average size was that of a sheep, only 148 stock cars would be needed, as each stock car holds around 240 sheep. This leaves 385 cars for food storage, living space, etc... plenty o' room...
1. The fact that God was sorry that He made man at one point doesn't necessarily mean He didn't know what was going to happen in this regard. Consider, we know our parents are going to die, our friends, siblings, etc... we know this - yet when it happens, does it mean that we won't be sorry just because we knew about it?
2. The reality is that God owns everything. He made sure the land animals survived, He didn't wipe them out. And sea creatures didn't need to be saved from water.
@Thistlesifter220 wow, what a very nice parrot response. Thanks for watching!
One thing tho, just because someone owns something, doesnt give them the right to kill it. According to what you said, parents should have the right to kill their children? Surely you dont believe that, so I'm going to have to chalk that up to, maybe you havent really put a whole lot of thought into it. Good news tho! There is still time :)
@TheAist No, it's really not quite the same thing... God has prerogatives, and rights that people just do not have; remember He created everything. Besides, the point is that He took measures to ensure the continuation of the different species of animals.
alltiedup217- My proof is if you look at the Atlantic Ocean you will see a big crake running from North to south. You will not see a crake in the Pacific Ocean. This happen when the earth was divided 101 years after the flood of Noah. Plus if you look at all Mountains you will see riging this happen when the earth was being divided. The proof is all around all you need to do is will open your eyes. And carbon dating again I say that does not work at all.
You know the funny thing is what people claim the Bible said is not what the Bible said. What we hear is what people added to the Bible. Let me show you. People said it's told in the Bible that Noah and his sons built the ark. But in the Bible it doe's not said this. People claim that Noah and his family was the only people on the ark and again the Bible did not say this.
@BlevinsBI The Bible said that God told Noah to take on the ark two of all flesh. And the word flesh was other people. The only thing the Bible said about Noah making on the ark was the window. And Noah started to have the ark built at the age of 500 and the flood in in the 600 years of Noah life. And all of this is told in the King Jame version. I know the true story of Noah and I also have real photos of Noah ark at rest on Mt. Ararat and I found the location by going on the Bible.
@BlevinsBI So you see what people tells about the Bible is not true at all. For the things they tell people is no where to be found in the Bible. Did you know that the Bible tells us the Lord God name it is Jealous. Don't believe me look for your self Exodus Ch34 V14.For thou shalt worship no othe god: for the Lord whose name is Jealous is a jealous God. and as you see "for the Lord whose name is Jealous. This is the Lord God name.Take a look
@BlevinsBI The Bible said the ark was to be the length 300 cubits, the breadth 50 cubits the height 30 cubits. Now the you said 300 cubits by 150 cubits by 30 cubits. Again my point people add things to the story. And the Cubit in Noah time was around 36in. The reason is the people in Noah time lived longer and the was taller then we are today. They was around 14 to 16 ft tall. And they found bones of people in Turkey that was around 14ft to 15ft tall.
@BlevinsBI sorry again but hear again you claim the Bible said that Noah was 600 years old when he started to build the ark but this again was add by people. The Bible said Noah was 500 years old and not the 600 years old as you claim.
@BlevinsBI In the beginning there was no conutry's all the land was as one big land mass. The earth became into conutry's 101 years after the flood. As told in the Bible the earth was divided in the days of Pe-leg. And the days of Pe-leg was 101 years after the flood. So all the animals can walk to the ark and walk back after the flood to their locations in the time of Noah. look it up it's all in the Bible.
@BlevinsBI And again you claim the Bible said the waters was 15 cubits above. Do you know what you are reading. The Bible said it rain for 40 days and 40 nights until all the high hills was covered. And the water rose another 15 cubits and the Mt. tops was covered. This tell us that the Mt.tops in Noah time was only 15 cubits or 45ft higher then the high hills. And when the earth divided is when the Mt. grew to the state they are today 101 years after the flood.
@BlevinsBI all complete fairy tales. still wouldnt be enough to cover Everest. Look man, respectfully, its obvious you know very little about geology and physics...let alone reality. Why should i believe anything you when you display.....a lack of knowledge about many subjects?
@TheAist In the days of Noah Everest was only about 545ft and not the 1000's of feet as it is today. As you can see that when the land was divided in the days of Pe-leg 101 years after the flood the earth compact and the land mass grew. And all the high hills became mountains.
@BlevinsBI Dude, thats just retarded to even say. Site a source. Its claims like that that expose your lack of education and understanding of reality. Go ahead, site a source...if you actually can, I assure you, they are just as retarded.
@TheAist my lack of education well at lest I can read. Let me show you Dude, You claim the cubit is 12in but the true cubit is 18in. Do you know a cubit is measured from a man finger tips to his elbow. I am 6'2" and from my finger tips to my elbow is 18in. And this is who you measure a cubit. For the cubit to be the 12in as you claim the man would have been 3ft tall for the cubit to be 12in. So again I am right and your wrong.
@BlevinsBI no, what you've done is prove me right. about your lack of comprehension. i said in the video a cubit is 18 inches, and that no one knows for sure, and that i used 12 inches to prove the point. Really, im trying to be respectful, if you are going to just be stupid, there really is no point in continuing this...discussion.
@BlevinsBI Noah Everest was only about 545ft and not the 1000's of feet as it is today ..oh your evidence for this is what?oh ya let me guess carbon dating dosen't work unless its verifying some thing that supports the bible...but if it doesn't support the bible its wrong.I'm going to tell you right now everest was NOT 500 ft that is non-sense.If the hill became high mountains, why are the erosion rate not trhe same for all mountains?oh oh I know cause your wrong.
@alltiedup217 Carbon dating is accurate as long as the environment has never changed in the region. They have found living snails in a well in the south west USA that were tested by carbon dating, showing to be thousands of years old.
@Thistlesifter220 sorry your misinformed BTW there a over 40 diff dating methods that they use I guess they are all wrong as well.Funny that they all same the same wrong thing. You would think if they didnt work they would all show something different.Yet they dont.
@BlevinsBI Now I am at the end of this video what and every thing you have said about Noah and the ark and flood is not true and you added this to the story for what you said is not what is told in the Bible and this is the King James Version.
@TheAist Sorry well I have to say you know nothing about the Bible or anything about the stories that are told in the Bible. I have research the Bible for over 24 years and found that what people claim the Bible tells us is not what is told in the Bible. People like you and them just add to the story they way you think. If your going to tell a story then you need to first know the story before you can tell it.
@BlevinsBI it seems quite apparent i know way more about it than you do. i suggest actually reading it. tho i dont know how good it will do. you dont seem to employ reading comprehension.
@TheAist As you seen in my comments on some of the things you claim is told in the Bible I shown it was not told in the Bible. Like Noah started to build the ark as you claim he was 600 years old But the Bible clearly said the flood was in the 600 year of Noah's life. Need I say more. I can go on for days if you like
@BlevinsBI try studying something besides the bible, it will help you a lot. i would suggest basic physics. Physics destroys gods...all of them. All of the sciences are in co-relation to each other. But they all depend on physics.
@TheAist By the way I have done research in other fields like I debuncked the Patterson and Gimlin Bigfoot film. And at this time I am going out to find a real Bigfoot and film it.
Noah`s Ark is NONSENSE; Most bible colleges don`t even teach it:As an example, there are 106 schools in the Christian College Coalition. Of those 106 only 5 teach a literal interpretation of the Genesis account of creation or that the flood was global & the flood prevailed the highest peak
Aye...two people of the same race could have sex until the end of time and their children would never turn into another race. These are just stories, folks.
@fa272 Well those in the ark weren't all of the same race... and let me ask you... is it possible that people of the same race could never change but one species of animal could turn into a totally different species?
different animals need different temperatures to survive. so did the ark have air conditioning and different temperature in different rooms in the ark?
how can arctic bears survive in the same as desert lizards? it's simply impossible
My friend pointed out that Noah's wife was not named in the good book ?How could that be, someone of such significance? going to send you a link , its on his NWO conspiracy site, he writes all about the Giants, etc too. I love hearing all of these stories/theories really whether or not I adhere to them, much better than TV and you meet alot great people along the way :)
i dont know of any female religious writings. Maybe wicca. Ancient greece had many preistesses, but i dont know of any writings.
about noah's wife, i realized that too many years ago, i thought it was pretty fucked up, she would be just as significant as eve....and she didnt fuck things up.
Excellent video..nothing from the bible makes sense to me, with the exception of a few wise words from wise men that likely meant well, other than that, I don't trust my life into a book that's been handled by corrupt men. Here is my question, did any women ever have a hand in writing that book or any other religious book? A friend of mine wrote a neat article on this from a different perspective, you might like it, interesting topic.
That's what happened to the dinosaurs! They were taken onto the ark, but then eaten as food.
Here's another observation. Giants are mentioned in the bible before and after the flood. But there are no mention of them getting onto the ark. Hmmm...
on top of that, the turkish version of the flood story has a giant in it. i think his name was Og. he survived the flood being in the water. wiki it, its very interesting.
awesome vid, i put it on my fav's. Also, I was reading Genesis and there's something I dont get. If God made Adam & Eve, & no one esle, who did Cain enpregnant to have his child? The only woman around is his mom & I didnt know the Church was into that kinda stuff...
Very good video. Also, animals like polar bears would die in the Middle East. The Earth has been through multiple ice ages , continental drifts, yet things like that are not mentioned in the Bible. Why? Because they happened long before the Bible was written, or even the Sumerian texts before that.
please understand, if there were a god, he would not judge me, i would judge him. yahweh is a moral inferior and does not posses the power ot wisdom to make those kind of decisions.
i agree 100% and i dont get how others dont get it... i really get pissed off with the argument ''you cant prove that god does not exist'' the biggest bullshit in human words
Let me point out just one of the many errors in your reasoning. You stated that Noah sacrificed all the clean animals when he came out of the ark. Any translation you use does not support your claim.
You understand, even after you have brought to light EXCELLENT points there will be a number of people who will justify everything you say and consider you a heathen! o.O
God can see into the future but he choses not too when he feels like it. As for man he gave us free will and in order to be truly free will he would have let us be and try not to interfere an example is Adam & Eve
raging rivers, storms, rogue waves; scary shit man. scaaarryyyy! scared them apes so bad they are still chattering about it, and tell tall tales about the time way back when the old man saved the village and all the livestock during the big flood.....
I read the Epic of Gilgamesh late last year. The ending is what the Noah story is based on. Gilgamesh visits a man, looking for immortality, and this man had this flood experience. It is almost exactly the same story.
Hinduism, along with other traditions, have their own flood stories, as Aist points out.
How people take this literally, I do not know. There was even an elected official who said recently that global warming will not happen because "God will not destroy the earth again by flood"
Yes, it was disturbing to see someone holding office claim that.
I don't remember Gilgamesh mentioning Og. But I do know that the Babylonian creation story is said to be similar to the Genesis creation stories (there are of course two contradictory creation stories in Genesis, as I am sure you know.)
Great video, by the way. I will recommend it the next time I meet someone who takes the Genesis flood story literally.
BTW, the Hebrew word for Genesis is "Bereshit." A good name for that book.
CZ...you are forgetting holy poop........god made magical animal poop that tuned into wine!!! This also shows how the bible predicted Jesus turning water into wine!!
thats what im shooting for! u would be amazed how many theists have tried to answer my questions. they obviously have a hard time understanding rhetorical questions, they think they are actual questions.
Thanks, sorry i didnt get back to ya sooner. i just subbed. i had over a thousand subscriptions, let alone the almost 2000 subs, its hard to remember everybody. YT really screwed me. Glad to hook back up!
Well done! You got some points that I missed. Another YouTuber you might check out for an extensive critique of the Noah myth is Nick Gisburne. It may not be on his new channel Gisburne2000, but I hope you can still find it on his website.
Thanks, Largo! i saw nick's a long time ago. Im going to have a second part to this up soon, this is a biblical review, the next one will be a scientific refutation.
Whenever I ask my family about this ridiculous story I can almost see the cognitive dissonance storm in their mind as they reach for that word: "faith"
I think everyone knows that the bibles of the world are, for the most part, silly. This includes religious and non-religious people. However, making yourself believe the religion and bible coming with it is true helps bring happiness and comfort to people. I am an atheist, however, I do believe if you are happy with your religion than go for it as long as it does not interfere negatively on others lives and beliefs.
i think religion is dangerous and harmful. it makes people believe in non=reality. it makes them demonize people who dont believe what they do. it causes psychological damage and bigotry when the fear of hell is invoked. i see WAY more bad than good.
not to mention, the american military complex is run by religious fanatics, THATS truly scary.
I agree. On a large scale this is definitely a problem. However, for the everyday person, their individual beliefs are their own, as long as they don't try to push them on anyone else. Although, there is still a problem if they have children, the children will definitely be raised in bias and it is those children that I am truly worried about. Knowing that the future generations will become more intelligent as well as educated(Hopefully), I believe change will occur.
this story is so funny to me. i was told by a christian this week that the holy spirit is the one who parted the sea. what a fucking joke. no historical evidence for this.
I don't think being any of those things would exclude you from being a nihilist. Morality and value seem to me to be almost like another religion that not even atheists or philosophers are willing to let go of, regardless of its truth. Terms like right and wrong, good and bad seem to be just as cryptic if not outright being a part of religion itself.
My first reaction is that your debunking of the Noah's Arc story is cute. It feels the same to me as you trying to debunk something like Beauty and the Beast or Little Red Riding hood, analyzing it like this feels unnecessary. However, I've never had any experience with people who believe in this stuff. Even things like Richard Dawkin's interviews with religious people, or things on television...they don't feel like they're a part of reality, that they're fictional characters.
A. Hebrew for "repent" in Genesis ^ is a COURTROOM term. It is a change of policy, with no connotation of lack of foreknowledge or fallibility. You know this because Hebrew "riv" means a Court Case. In fact, the Flood was predicted 1000 years prior, via the naming of "Methusaleh" (="when he dies, Flood happens"). So this is an announcement that the forewarned judgement will take place, 120 years after the Decision is announced. (Cont. in B.)
B. It does NOT show he's made a flawed creation, creation flawed itself at the Fall of Adam who ruled it. In short, Adam was put in charge of the animals, and by extension, mankind. So that's why man's property must be destroyed also. As for the children, they immediately go to heaven as they could not have rejected the Gospel, principle of 2Samuel 12:23. The fetus is not alive, Exo21:22, see my Prolife Blasphemy videos. (Cont. in C.)
C. Concerning why only land animals, you got me there. I haven't figured that out. The animals aren't destroyed for THEIR guilt. The idea is to show that human decisions hurt others (here, creation).
D. A cubit is 18 inches. The ark was of the dimensions of a Liberty class (WWII) ship, and its stability was analyzed at MIT. I could get more details on that from my notes if you want it.
E. "Clean" and "unclean" animals were known since Abel, to know which to sacrifice. (Cont. in F.)
F. No, Noah was 480 years old when he started to build the ark. He was almost 501 when the triplets were born, and on his 600th birthday the Flood began. Please reread.
I'm making too many comments in reply and do not wish to seem rude. I'll stop here, and THANK YOU for your calm presentation, cosmiczen. I'm glad Cimbolic told me about you. :)
i just looked at it, your right, it started raining when he was 600, but i saw nothing about 480. in any case, both are ridiculous. even where it says man will live to be 120 is ridiculous. average life span these days are 86. let alone people having asn average life span of 35 yrs throught recorded western history...so, either god was wrong or he lied.
the 3rd option is , there is no god and the bible is a fairytale, thats what i think.
glad u liked the video, part 2 will blow your mind.
G., Reply to TheAist, I do actuarial work. Human life expectancy is very elastic, much depends on environment: if Adam was perfect and then sinned, biologically it would take centuries for the mutated degeneration to reduce life expectancy to our levels today. A water catastrophe like the Flood (think of Pangea) would introduce a far more rapid deterioration. You see this in the sons of Shem. (Cont. in H.)
That decline is wholly reasonable. Hygiene is harder to maintain in humidity. So when man becomes animalistic as under mass religion (Christian or no), life expectancy drops to the 30's. Religion is a pox on mankind: bad mental attitudes cause body illness.
Thus in Moses day, life expectancy was like our modern 70-80 years (Psalm 90:10) but he lived to 120 -- same today: IRC Section 417(e) mandated pension payout mortality tables go to 120.
I. Oh, I forgot to reply to your query on the 480: just do the math. The first time God speaks to Noah is at the 120-year-countdown. Next time God talks Noah is 500 years old, and if you do the math on the kids you'll see that was 20 years later than the first recorded talk. I did a whole spreadsheet on Bible timeline, GeneYrs(dot)xls .
its funny you mention moses, as with the ark, there is zero evidence to support there ever was a moses, in fact the evidence leads us to think there never was a moses.
K. Reply to The Aist, "funny you mention moses". Again, inept scholarship is to blame for finding no evidence. If the keys are in the glovebox but you insist they are in the breadbox, of course you won't find them. See my Exodate(dot)htm . Evidence of Moses can be seen live in Central Park, Cleopatra's Needle, just across from the best hotel in NewYork on Central Park South (dang brain just went out on its name, will have to look it up).
cleopatra's needle in central park? you have to be kidding.
there are scientists called Egyptologists, and they are not inept, be for real. they have studied detailed egyptian historical records and there is no record of israelites ever being slaves in eygpt. the records go back further than what the bible indicates and after the time period indicates. there is no ineptness involved. there simply is NO historical record of moses or israelite slaves in egypt. its all make believe.

ThiMk!
Thistlesifter220 1 year ago
Thistlesifter220 1 year ago
Thistlesifter220 1 year ago
Thistlesifter220 1 year ago
@Thistlesifter220 wow, what a very nice parrot response. Thanks for watching!
One thing tho, just because someone owns something, doesnt give them the right to kill it. According to what you said, parents should have the right to kill their children? Surely you dont believe that, so I'm going to have to chalk that up to, maybe you havent really put a whole lot of thought into it. Good news tho! There is still time :)
TheAist 1 year ago

And carbon dating again I say that does not work at all.

my questions
what did they eat after they got outta the ark
where did the water go
why is it today most species with less then 20 members die out
what did the birds do with no trees no place to build a nest.
what about all the fresh water fish
what about the fact that there was no flood in china.
oh the list of problems are endless.

@alltiedup217 check out the 2nd part, Noah's Ark: A Scientific Destruction
TheAist 1 year ago
You know the funny thing is what people claim the Bible said is not what the Bible said. What we hear is what people added to the Bible. Let me show you. People said it's told in the Bible that Noah and his sons built the ark. But in the Bible it doe's not said this. People claim that Noah and his family was the only people on the ark and again the Bible did not say this.
BlevinsBI 1 year ago
@BlevinsBI The Bible said that God told Noah to take on the ark two of all flesh. And the word flesh was other people. The only thing the Bible said about Noah making on the ark was the window. And Noah started to have the ark built at the age of 500 and the flood in in the 600 years of Noah life. And all of this is told in the King Jame version. I know the true story of Noah and I also have real photos of Noah ark at rest on Mt. Ararat and I found the location by going on the Bible.
BlevinsBI 1 year ago
@BlevinsBI So you see what people tells about the Bible is not true at all. For the things they tell people is no where to be found in the Bible. Did you know that the Bible tells us the Lord God name it is Jealous. Don't believe me look for your self Exodus Ch34 V14.For thou shalt worship no othe god: for the Lord whose name is Jealous is a jealous God. and as you see "for the Lord whose name is Jealous. This is the Lord God name.Take a look
BlevinsBI 1 year ago
@BlevinsBI The Bible said the ark was to be the length 300 cubits, the breadth 50 cubits the height 30 cubits. Now the you said 300 cubits by 150 cubits by 30 cubits. Again my point people add things to the story. And the Cubit in Noah time was around 36in. The reason is the people in Noah time lived longer and the was taller then we are today. They was around 14 to 16 ft tall. And they found bones of people in Turkey that was around 14ft to 15ft tall.
BlevinsBI 1 year ago
@BlevinsBI Dude, im a minister in 2 different religions. i can agree with one thing u said, the bible is not true at all.
TheAist 1 year ago
@BlevinsBI thats hilarious, those photos were debunked in the 70's.
and YOU know the true story? did god come tell you himself?
TheAist 1 year ago
@BlevinsBI sorry again but hear again you claim the Bible said that Noah was 600 years old when he started to build the ark but this again was add by people. The Bible said Noah was 500 years old and not the 600 years old as you claim.
BlevinsBI 1 year ago
@BlevinsBI well, the thing is, people dont live to be 500 or 600, so.....
TheAist 1 year ago
@BlevinsBI In the beginning there was no conutry's all the land was as one big land mass. The earth became into conutry's 101 years after the flood. As told in the Bible the earth was divided in the days of Pe-leg. And the days of Pe-leg was 101 years after the flood. So all the animals can walk to the ark and walk back after the flood to their locations in the time of Noah. look it up it's all in the Bible.
BlevinsBI 1 year ago
@BlevinsBI this is not true, there are many civilizations that pre=date the supposed flood.
TheAist 1 year ago
@BlevinsBI And again you claim the Bible said the waters was 15 cubits above. Do you know what you are reading. The Bible said it rain for 40 days and 40 nights until all the high hills was covered. And the water rose another 15 cubits and the Mt. tops was covered. This tell us that the Mt.tops in Noah time was only 15 cubits or 45ft higher then the high hills. And when the earth divided is when the Mt. grew to the state they are today 101 years after the flood.
BlevinsBI 1 year ago
@BlevinsBI all complete fairy tales. still wouldnt be enough to cover Everest. Look man, respectfully, its obvious you know very little about geology and physics...let alone reality. Why should i believe anything you when you display.....a lack of knowledge about many subjects?
TheAist 1 year ago
@TheAist In the days of Noah Everest was only about 545ft and not the 1000's of feet as it is today. As you can see that when the land was divided in the days of Pe-leg 101 years after the flood the earth compact and the land mass grew. And all the high hills became mountains.
BlevinsBI 1 year ago
@BlevinsBI Dude, thats just retarded to even say. Site a source. Its claims like that that expose your lack of education and understanding of reality. Go ahead, site a source...if you actually can, I assure you, they are just as retarded.
TheAist 1 year ago
@TheAist my lack of education well at lest I can read. Let me show you Dude, You claim the cubit is 12in but the true cubit is 18in. Do you know a cubit is measured from a man finger tips to his elbow. I am 6'2" and from my finger tips to my elbow is 18in. And this is who you measure a cubit. For the cubit to be the 12in as you claim the man would have been 3ft tall for the cubit to be 12in. So again I am right and your wrong.
BlevinsBI 1 year ago
@BlevinsBI no, what you've done is prove me right. about your lack of comprehension. i said in the video a cubit is 18 inches, and that no one knows for sure, and that i used 12 inches to prove the point. Really, im trying to be respectful, if you are going to just be stupid, there really is no point in continuing this...discussion.
TheAist 1 year ago
@BlevinsBI Noah Everest was only about 545ft and not the 1000's of feet as it is today ..oh your evidence for this is what?oh ya let me guess carbon dating dosen't work unless its verifying some thing that supports the bible...but if it doesn't support the bible its wrong.I'm going to tell you right now everest was NOT 500 ft that is non-sense.If the hill became high mountains, why are the erosion rate not trhe same for all mountains?oh oh I know cause your wrong.
alltiedup217 1 year ago
@alltiedup217 Carbon dating is accurate as long as the environment has never changed in the region. They have found living snails in a well in the south west USA that were tested by carbon dating, showing to be thousands of years old.

@Thistlesifter220 sorry your misinformed BTW there a over 40 diff dating methods that they use I guess they are all wrong as well.Funny that they all same the same wrong thing. You would think if they didnt work they would all show something different.Yet they dont.
alltiedup217 1 year ago
@BlevinsBI Now I am at the end of this video what and every thing you have said about Noah and the ark and flood is not true and you added this to the story for what you said is not what is told in the Bible and this is the King James Version.
BlevinsBI 1 year ago
@BlevinsBI i can assure you i did more research than any non-thinking believer.
TheAist 1 year ago
@TheAist Sorry well I have to say you know nothing about the Bible or anything about the stories that are told in the Bible. I have research the Bible for over 24 years and found that what people claim the Bible tells us is not what is told in the Bible. People like you and them just add to the story they way you think. If your going to tell a story then you need to first know the story before you can tell it.
BlevinsBI 1 year ago
@BlevinsBI it seems quite apparent i know way more about it than you do. i suggest actually reading it. tho i dont know how good it will do. you dont seem to employ reading comprehension.
TheAist 1 year ago
@TheAist As you seen in my comments on some of the things you claim is told in the Bible I shown it was not told in the Bible. Like Noah started to build the ark as you claim he was 600 years old But the Bible clearly said the flood was in the 600 year of Noah's life. Need I say more. I can go on for days if you like
BlevinsBI 1 year ago
@BlevinsBI try studying something besides the bible, it will help you a lot. i would suggest basic physics. Physics destroys gods...all of them. All of the sciences are in co-relation to each other. But they all depend on physics.

Hmmm...

There was even an elected official who said recently that global warming will not happen because "God will not destroy the earth again by flood"
lombard34 2 years ago
thats freakin scary!
did giglamesh mention Og?

Yes, it was disturbing to see someone holding office claim that.
I don't remember Gilgamesh mentioning Og. But I do know that the Babylonian creation story is said to be similar to the Genesis creation stories (there are of course two contradictory creation stories in Genesis, as I am sure you know.)
Great video, by the way. I will recommend it the next time I meet someone who takes the Genesis flood story literally.

I think everyone knows that the bibles of the world are, for the most part, silly. This includes religious and non-religious people. However, making yourself believe the religion and bible coming with it is true helps bring happiness and comfort to people. I am an atheist, however, I do believe if you are happy with your religion than go for it as long as it does not interfere negatively on others lives and beliefs.
machopbad 2 years ago
i think religion is dangerous and harmful. it makes people believe in non=reality. it makes them demonize people who dont believe what they do. it causes psychological damage and bigotry when the fear of hell is invoked. i see WAY more bad than good.
not to mention, the american military complex is run by religious fanatics, THATS truly scary.
TheAist 2 years ago

TheAist 2 years ago
I don't think being any of those things would exclude you from being a nihilist. Morality and value seem to me to be almost like another religion that not even atheists or philosophers are willing to let go of, regardless of its truth. Terms like right and wrong, good and bad seem to be just as cryptic if not outright being a part of religion itself.
Saedin 2 years ago
My first reaction is that your debunking of the Noah's Arc story is cute. It feels the same to me as you trying to debunk something like Beauty and the Beast or Little Red Riding hood, analyzing it like this feels unnecessary. However, I've never had any experience with people who believe in this stuff. Even things like Richard Dawkin's interviews with religious people, or things on television...they don't feel like they're a part of reality, that they're fictional characters.
Saedin 2 years ago
i feel the same way. you will like part 2 where i will use science to debunk it.

Contra:
(Cont. in B.)
brainouty 2 years ago
(Cont. in C.)
brainouty 2 years ago
