  • I watched Mr.Dressup until I was 13 cause he was all about the art and being creative and now all the cartoons are meant to put you in a trance or something.

I'm 22 now and if I ever have I child I will not let them watch the crap they have on today and they will not own a cell phone! And when I was 10 or younger I didnt want to wear miniskirts I wore my Aladdin Sweatsuit which I was excited to wear to school.

Wish I could change it :(

  • welcome to the 21 century

  • yea kids changed over da years i can tell by myself :)

  • they are written by complete wankers who think they're comedians and fall short about 100 miles of anything original or funny and don't instill any sense of storytelling or morals like cartoons have in the past.

when i was little cartoons were the biggest part of my life... i'd come home watch cartoons on saturdays i'd wake up extra early to watch cartoons... and the stuff that i watched in the 90s i can still watch today and enjoy when i'm 21... because they were well written

  • oh yeah sorry i mean... some of the stuff from the 90s ... the thing is is that in the previous decade they showed the classics along with the newer cartoons... i think that helped to keep the bar raised. (even though every decade has had it's fair share of total shit... i feel like this one has gotten away from itself) -- same with music

  • thanks for the comment and i agree tv and music have really lost thier magic in teaching and entertaining the kids. It certainly isn't like when i was young. Saturday mornings used to be the best thing in the world for me as a kid. We need to step up and save this generation as thier teachers we need to do a hell of a better job.

  • i want some cheap $1 bling :(

but i think computers are being pushed on us too much... i used to make money selling them.

now i'm trying to get into the world of traditional animation but everything is done in a program called flash now that sucks the life out of all your drawings and speaking of which if u think that stuff is bad u should check out some of the cartoons kids watch these days they suck.

  • Why doesn't this vid get like, more views?

By the way you don't have to buy a present for everyone with Christmas... but of course, you are an American... so I can't really argue with that.

  • I drove by a school the other day, and as i was passing i caught a glimpse of some of the children getting unloaded from the busses. Almost every single one of them was listening to an ipod, probably filled with junk. Have you listened to a rap song lately? The lyrics are terrible, nothing but talk of sex, guns, gangs, and alcohol. These children are going to be adults someday!

  • I completely 100% agree with you,I'm 14 and don't have an ipod and don't like rap,and some people look at me as if I'm on crack when I say that.Jesus,I can live without hearing music every moment in my life.

On the video, even when I was a child a couple of years ago things were never like they are now,I mean I played with toys and was happy out with them. Now kids need something electronic to entertain them.

  • Have you seen the attitudes of kids today? I mean, do we really want our kids to grow up to be adults with nothing but junk in their heads? My 3 year old niece said she needed to lose weight just the other day! Why? Well, just look in her barbie house; nothing but skinny little unrealistic dolls with huge brests!

  • Well, you can't blame the kids for liking what they like. This is a new era, with new products, whether it be slutty dolls, remote control cars with rims or hi-tech games, thats what the kids of today like!

  • It's all about the culture that is created by consumerism. Marketing has no soul and cares only about money. I mean this has been said a thousand times before, it's a cliche, but it's still just as true today --even more so. For many people these days priority number one is acquiring THINGS rather than building relationships.
