errrm...the injury-time winner against Man Utd (his last home goal for Arse), also in the same season against Sheff Utd and Porto. It wasn't his strongest point but that was in his last season alne. I've also seen him score at least 6 or 7 headers since he's been at Barca. (2 seasons).

o me football started to get more modern when Henry come on the scene,there was no other striker like him in England at the time.
shearer was different he used strength and used power in his strikes,just a classic striker,no flamboyancy or trendy flicks,also football was still using the long ball passing technique,these days its a lot more direct passing,trendy flicks,and also a lot more pace.
you can't really compare the 2 because they both played in different eras during there prime.

no way mate. Shearer was a great goalscorer and maybe a touch more prolific but Henry was way more complete. He made countless assists, scored free-kicks, had blistering place, took people on, took corners, scored spectacular goals regularly with both feet, etc. Henry is king but Shearer was an amazing "old fashioned" striker.

Shearer, believer it or not used to have great pace as well. His finishing was better than Henry's and he was outstanding in the air. He also had the 'striker's instinct'. Its really hard to compare them, because Henry was originally a winger and that's how he's played at Barca

errrm...the injury-time winner against Man Utd (his last home goal for Arse), also in the same season against Sheff Utd and Porto. It wasn't his strongest point but that was in his last season alne. I've also seen him score at least 6 or 7 headers since he's been at Barca. (2 seasons).
