Roy was measured along with a lot of others before he was drafted. His running vert was 40.5 inches. That's better than Jason Richardson was measured at. Roy doesn't usually play above the rim, but that doesn't mean he can't jump.

yes...roy has an amazing vertical leap.easily above 38 inches tt jump. he is athletic, but he is more an effective player rather than an entertainer. i like his fluent style. very team oriented player. when called upon to take the clutch shot he delivers. personality wise quiet & hardworking. in my opinion he plays more like european's style bball. effective with & without ball & team player.
