Multi recording serves no purpose...

You are about to record a HD movie and press the button to take a picture at the same time then the camera moves and you see it in your movie.

besides, its always possible to stop the movie while watching and make a screen copy.

BTW: Many other cameras like Fuji Finepix 550 also does multi recording.

There should probably be something inbetween Xz-1 and SZ-30MR. I like the manual aperture setting capability of XZ1 and think all those magic filters are absolutely useless, just for people who like to play. I like the XZ1s Super Macro: 0.01m better than the Super Macro: 0.03m of the SZ30

many people are so flat and they don't know how to work with this nice camera ! Do not read comments , just go in the shop test it if you like it just buy it , so simple :) If you read comment for evrything you want to buy , Im sure you never gonna buy something :)

Concerning image quality, Olympus can't follow the big brands. The size is amazing considering the big zoom but it looks cheap.

Ive heard picture quality is average but features are very much packed - battery life is slightly short and cant find any info on the 3d quality - but average reviews are in the 80 - 92% range which isnt bad and Dabs have lowered the price to £220 for a short period of time making this very attractive currently

I haven't done side by side comparison between this and the S95, so I really can't tell which has better image quality. Sorry.

Picture quality is a gap from the Olympus XZ-1. The specs of Canon S95 should be closer to the XZ-1. The XZ-1 is definitely better than the S95 in image quality.
