You can find a used one somewhere between 800 to 1500. They tend to be a bit pricey. When you get close to one and see all the parts that go into one you will see where the expense comes from.

@gruvens If you are still interested and live in the UK (Scotland if possible) I have a Carter Starter model for sale in immaculate condition complete with case,vol pedal, leads, DVD,CD's etc for £650. Look it up in Gumtree where you'll get the details. cheers
