cell block H. Her character was the main reason why the show was good,at least for the 2 years until they started moving the show in differen time slots& cast changes..

Bea Smith was Top dog then Myra Desmond then Nora Flynn who came back in a body bag!Rita Connors was next and the last the top dog was Kath Maxwell cos rita was Dying at the end of the last seaon. Bea was by far the BEST and Infamous TOP DOG!

The actual theme was based in the inside life of women in prison, it was realistic too as no exadurated make-up was used on to the women, they were all portraying ugly women stuck in prison, like a little system getting caught.

Not enough clips of Bea Smith[Val Lehman]. Especially the one from episode 346 where she brands Nola McKenzie with a soldering iron. Her and Sheila Florance were Prisoner. The show went downhill from episode 400.

Actually, some of the most memorable storylines in Prisoner came after 400.

Bea and Lizzie were good, but there was alot more to Prisoner than those two characters. As nearly 400 more episodes without them proved.
