@DD826-This was a public land, guided hunt. No one had ever seen that elk before, or it would have been dead years before it reached this size. No laws about hunting water holes in AZ, only about camping within 1/4 mile of them. Most prime elk country here in AZ is high desert, low woodlands and the only way to find the elk is to follow their feed and water patterns. Harder than it looks on T.V. Perfectly legal-fair chase hunt. There are no "High-Fence" hunts in AZ-illegal.
