The jeweler thought he was about to watch his wife die so a criminal could walk away with a few stones. He should have checked his back stop to keep the rounds controlled, and went about defending himself. A round went through a window, yes that's a f*ck up, but a round going through the wife's head would have been infinitely worse. This ended well.

I dont know if they were loaded because we were told not to play with them. Plus, guns are not only to protect our familys from criminals, there to protect ourselves from our own government. How would you answer England's ban on firearms...since the ban was forced on its citizen that crime by firearms has increased to the point where the "Bobbies" have armed themselves.

England's crime rate is much higher than the US per capita. The criminals interviewed said they don't worry about the home owners because the cannot defend themselves. Criminals in the US worry about being shot by the home owners or their neighbors.

The fact is each state governs their own gun laws and that is why we have problems. States that allow concealed weapons have lower gun crime rates than states that do not allow it. Also, to the RCMP members who recommended charges against the jeweller, maybe you guys should go out on duty without your sidearm. Why is it you can defend yourselves when someone shoves a gun in your face but the rest of us can't?

@panzered4180 You got it all wrong lol, no matter why he shot him the person ressponsible for the death always gets charged no matter what. But in cases like (self defence) the charges usually get dropped. By law everyone must be charged if there responsible for the death. Its just a matter as if it was necessary or not.

I love how the RCMP officer failed to mention that what the robber was doing was also dangerous and that the man's wife could have been shot in the face. But of course we have to ensure the criminal's rights are not impinged, forget everyone else. Fucking disgusting.
