I have the LR3 SE '05 and even I love it, I wold like to remark some things that I didn't like or that a SUV of that kind should have, 1. It does not have autolight so you have to turn them on and off manually everytime yo step in or outside. 2. The stereo volume is too low when the car is turned off. 3. No fog lamps, 4. uses a lot of gas, 5. takes too long to respond when you step on the throttle, 6. The dashboard is all cracked by the sun....... and some other things

This car has a jaguar v8. they last forever 2.7tdi is nice but very underpowered the new 30tdi also a jaguar engine. is sweeeet!

They were fairly reliable when they used BMW's 4.4i Engine. Then they sold it to Ford. Now it is in fact owned by Tata motors

LR needs to get back to their roots. Tata needs to drop all the foof in the LR fleet. Just build one model and make it a true off roader. Price it at $30k or less. Which is how LR started. Leave the heated seats to Cadillac and Porsche.

i happen to agree when they say that most of these lr3s sit on a mall parking lot, the thing is, people who can afford a land rover doesn't need to go off roading. people like me on the other hand - a volunteer for NGO that have to travel to remote, isolated (read: no roads at all) places can't even begin to count the amount to buy one =(
