  • I've seen a few videos of Cherine and she's one monstrous fbb.

As a fellow lifter I've begun to concentrate more recently on heavier sets, realizing there's more 'jerking' with the powerlifts, but can't help and wonder with concern whether you'll put too much pressure on the joints and soft tissue trying to execute such movements...how do you do this with regularity in the weight room?

Any advice from a pro as yourself, Cherine?

  • 235 is your max? That's impressive.. I can do sets of 6 @185 but can only max @210... Good job you beat this guy

  • free weights rule for real power

  • thats one hell of a way to have an abortion

  • how much kg this?

  • how much kg this?

  • She really ought to do a better job locking out at the top. Otherwise, not bad at all.

  • try not bouncing the bar and not using your legs and kill the momentom, then and only then will i say good job

  • are you retarded,a push press is variation of the push jerk from the clean and jerk lift. There is supposed to be leg drive and be done as quickly as possible it aint a shoulder press.

  • shes using her legs because shes doing a push press.

  • I keep thinking shes goning to drop it on her head.

  • That's impressive!

  • wow she's putting so much pressure on her back when she's making the barbell go back on her chest... bad form.. wow!

  • Good job! But why are you wearing straps?

  • Nice, Dominique. That is tough on the shoulders.

  • i always injury my shoulder doing this

  • i was doing these today, this is the second time i put them in my routine, developed a twinge in my lower neck/ shoulders, when i turn my head to the left or rihgt, i have some tightness and pain in the same spot, will have to leave these out i think.

  • ya i get exact same thing i find a shouder press machine just as good and safer though

  • machines are never as good as free weights.

  • I hope you are feeling better now. Believe it or not the human body is not designed to be lifting things overhead...especially anything heavy.

  • Shes strong! I wonder how much i could do with a belt and leg drive!

  • Good Show; keep training!

  • Shit!This girl is awesome!

  • I'm a big guy, pretty athletic and consider myself strong but this girl just puts me to shame - it's a turn on to see so much power being generated by a well built cute looking female, but it's a shot to ego. She is simply much stronger than I am.

  • useless comment, i bet you have left these before on other videos

  • Cool video you look great keep up the great work your strong and pretty too

  • excellent video.

she's exceptionally strong and has an impressing technique.

thank you for sharing the video. ^_^

  • Wow my male ego is in pain. What an amazing woman good job she has no fighting skills or my male ego would be in pain. Its superwoman

  • 235lbs 1 rep max, wow!!!!! i cant even squat that, will you be adding more vids for all us worshippers

  • what is your 1 rep max on the press Dominique

  • I can do one rep for 235lb for one rep. :)

Nice to see all you guys drop in and enjoy these videos :)

  • wow, have you ever tried lifting a person overhead?

  • Your wb270 page says you can do 245 for several reps on military press(and have videos to prove it, which I should say, would be far cooler to see then this).

How can you only do 235 once for push press?

Unless you were quite a bit stronger at the time you first wrote up your wb270 page, that'd make sense.

  • My militaries are behind the neck. A push press and seated military are two different things.

  • I realize that. I found it surprising and odd that you can do that much more with a seated, behind the neck military press than you can with a push press. From my experiences, pressing anything behind the neck is more difficult, and one should be able to do more weight with the push press.

  • yeah i know what ya mean dutto75man, me and a few guys I work with were at the gym and put that weight on the bar, couldnt even get it off the rack. one of the guys is 6'4" and around 235-240 pounds, he got it off the rack, lifted it halfway, then re racked it. he didnt believe me when i topld him about her, his jaw dropped to the floor when i showed him the video, and all her others.

  • lol i challenged two guys at the gym to attempt that weight. not one of us could budge it.

  • Awesome!! its rare to see a truly powerful woman! Could you do a video were you're lifting some outclassed male overhead? that would be pretty great!

  • I have probably watched this video 100 times in the last few days serious, You are one incredible woman. hope you come out with a lot more vids

  • Awesome.

Serious power display. To front press a bar that heavy, drop it down to you chest-catch it and rep again and again, thats a big wow!

What overhead press would this Superlady MAX???...

  • Great!

  • WOW!!!!!!! 185 lbs, I am so turned on right now, I do 8 reps of 110 on a good day, but normaly around 95-100. i can only imagine your max, keep up the great work, you have a ton of fans out here

  • 185lb

  • how much weight was this?

  • No. I am not doing the Southern States. I am prepping for a meet and might be doing strongwoman next year.

  • A meet? What kind of meet? (Sorry if I'm being dense here...)

  • A powerlifting meet.

  • Something tells me you're a beast in the squat and bench...

  • Are you really going to compete in the Southern States in Lauderdale in July?

  • Wow!! Very Powerful.
