This is my favorite (probably *only*) Sonny & Cher song. Many years after this one came out, I lived in Palm Springs when Sonny ran for Mayor. He won and I wondered how it would be ... he was a good mayor. And he was a good congressman, too. We lost a lot when he skied into those trees. Whatta WASTE! I miss him!
