thats not a ranger in my eyes just a new sport track that says ranger on it damnit makes me mad they shouldve kept the normal lookin TRUCK!!!! emphasis on TRUCK. looks like a pos SUV now
Good day mate, nice pickup! Too bad they don't sell them here :( does your Ranger have a turbo diesel engine and 6 speed manual? Boy I am lusting over it...
Nice video. Hothead. Drove a ranger the other day power drops away after 3000rpm but comes on at about 1500rpm it is a straight 5 cylinder and only came in a 3.2 diesel in nz. It is leaps and bound's ahead of most ute's (trucks for the USA people ). On the global market (non USA). The ford lot had 8 hilux traded in for the ranger so that says something.
Hey how was the torque from down 1000 rpm to about 3000? I saw the torque curve for the 3.2 at fordau website and its flat between 1750-2500 rpm @ 470 nm, then starts to drop after 2500 rpm. The hilux is 1400-3400 @ 343 nm, quite broad. Is it a sharp drop like the Navara, which has a narrow band then drops off?
I like the sound of all of them bus, people mover, ute because the back opens out and can put a looootttt of gear in there and car because it is sooooo cool for family outings and special outings too as it is sexy as well...
Caleb ... Thanks for posting the videos, but I would urge you to decide on what the Ranger really is ... you have called it a car, a bus, a ute .... wouldn't it be just easier to call it a truck and stick with that ? ...
I knew it an Aussie truck. The rollbar gave it away.

the fact that you keep calling it a "car" means that it looks more like a jacked up focus than a ranger
