Let me see if I got the story. Stryker offers Bruce Wayne to fund the Weapon X project. He does, but Wolverine escapes. Bruce tracks down Logan, where the two have a long showdown. The two realize Stryker tricked them both and team up against him. That's a movie I'd pay to see.
Hugh Jackman is a good Wolverine, but he really isn't built right. Wolverine would in theory be very well muscled, with legs the size of a medium sized tree. Between carrying the weight of the adamantium skeleton and his regeneration he would build muscle crazy fast.
Batman can, (and has), beat the DC heros, and villains.......So would it be to hard to think of him at lest finding a way to kill Wolverine, but just beats him instead? I mean one punch from Batman, and the Green Lantern went down. He also cought The Flash, has demons who owe him, (gods too). I think Wolverine would have to call up everything his learned, just to get a good shot in....Same for Bats. (Besides, I would win anyway cause I get to watch them fight!)

Batman might have a technological way to beat him, magnet or otherwise. He could put out radio waves to induce current in Wolverine's limbs, heating them to paralyzingly painful/degrading temperatures. He could push him into a volcano. There are plenty of ways that wolverine could die.
@axelasdf If Batman is going to do all that, that means he's willing to do whatever it takes to survive and so will Wolverine in that case so Charles Xavier would sense it and send another member of the X-Men for back up. If Batman isn't going to fight Wolverine in a brawl then Wolverine might as well get some back up.
if it were a straight physical fight where you're not allowed to think, then sure. but in any other situation batman would have wolverine down before wolverine even knew he was there. batman has beaten superman. He is regarded as one of the greatest superheroes of all time soley because of his genius, and he also happens to be a top class ninja. Wolverine is not in the same league.
