Look for "vw autostadt" it an automated car tower for VW dealer, where they use one central core to load and unload cars, even so it only takes seconds.
It far cheaper (guessing more than 1/3 cheaper) to do it that way than this vid, which is why it remain a vid and not a real thing.
In engineering "make it smart but keep it simple" or else you will make it costly & unreliable without any good justification.

Ahh, yes, but I did think of that, Thats why I said Passenger, maybe you could stay in there whilst the driver went off shopping, I think they would have some sort of sensors in there to stop this happening, because if sumone opened a door in the moving process if would damage the whole parking machine and would be extemely dangerous for the person.....

This is probably one of the best parking solutions.
Others have only one entrance and exit. I especially like how this has more than that, to minimize waiting times at say a concert, or a sports game.
