You need to read the story about the US building an immense fortress on Guam. Meaning? The US envisions haveing to retreat in time to a line in the Pacific that runs through Guam, in other words get out of the immediate areas near China. Retreat farther to the East in the Pacific. After Guam, the next line of resistance for the US will be Hawaii.

You need to read the story about the US building an immense fortress on Guam. Meaning? The US envisions haveing to retreat in time to a line in the Pacific that runs through Guam, in other words get out of the immediate areas near China. Retreat farther to the East in the Pacific. After Guam, the next line of resistance for the US will be Hawaii.

What a handsome fleet. So far there's no ugly ship from the Chinese navy (except may be the Xia class SSBN and the latest fast attack craft). Esp handsome are the Guangzhou class, Harbin class, Luda class and O54A class in my opinion.
BTW, one of the pics you've shown is an Indian frigate. But that's the only mistake. Thanks for the upload.

I dont know about you folks but the US carriers are sitting ducks. Oh sure they are powerful and can bring a country down like Iraq, but what if the US Navy was matched up with a fairly sizable navy? no it is chinese, the hull number on that ship is 170, for the last 20+ years the ship with that hull number in the Japanese navy has been Tachikaze Class guided missile destroyer DDG170 Sawakaze, that is most likely a Type 052C Luyang II class destroyer.

dont forget they started building their navies in the early 1900's and we didnt start until the last thirty years, 70 years and i doubt if any other country in this world could have caught up so quickly. US 'seemed' to be powerful simply because China was out of the equation back then. things that we didnt start late, like laser weapons, we are already leading.
