the crown vic 99-06, and the caprice 94-96 look better to me than these new cars they got for these cops, they were alot stronger and easy to fix,,,shieettt i get more scared when i see a police crown vic than a police officer lol
@bk5593 Vic's get taken out of service. Same great performance (better in some areas) with better gas mileage. I heard the officers on Wilmington's city force may start getting in caprices though, which makes sense given all the small streets & tight turns... All I'm sayin is both cars have areas where they shine. The caprices is patrol, not pursuit...
@bk5593 I will agree that the acharger's seats do leave a bit to be desired in the area of comfort. And I'm sure there are some applications (inner city patrol, etc) where a smaller, lighter car like the caprice would come in handy. But there's no way in hell it is gonna compete with the charger in terms of overall power in a pursuit setting (actual high speed chases, highway traffic stops, etc). That fuckin caprice is garbage!!!!! Looks like they got a fat man to sit on a Chevy aveo then outfitted it with lights & a siren... And there's a reason why Vic's & charger are really the only vehicles (@ least sedan-wise) you really hear anything about... The caprice isnt worth it's weight in horseshit! I LOOOVE the Tahoe, and the older (early 90's) were awesome, but Chevy really disappointed me with that pile of crap...

It can corner better than most other police cars besides the Impala. Plus it has the most amount of room police car wise and it's the most comfortable and officer comfort is very important. The Charger has absolutely shitty seats. The only reason agencies are going for the Charger is that its faster
