This is ridiculous. Why do these programs have to keep saying it's overdue? Once, the supervolcano didn't erupt for a million years, and it's only been 640 thousand years since the last eruption. So, it could happen now, or it could happen 400 thousand years later.

I live in Wyoming, about 75 miles from Yellowstone. Thankfully this guy is wrong. The earth is only 6,000 years old and the last time Yellowstone blew was 5,500 years ago during Noah's flood. Yellowstone is a beautiful area that God created. Good thing He's in control of volcanoes.

If you think that god has to do with this, your stupid, people believe god created earth, and everything, but, the universe is 1.3 billion light years across, and, just ONE light year is about 6,000,000 miles or more, so, do some thinking, do you really think ANYONE can create that quantity of matter?

@GamingXxXmaster I agree, but I advise you to find the softest teddy bear or plush toy, and give it a hug. From what we know, existence could only be "Something was there already", things just don't go "poof" and nothing becomes something. Creators or not (I believe in a creator mind you) both are plausible, so in the face of melancholy spreading religion or beliefs will most likely just provoke disputes, kinda defeating the purpose.
If Yellowstone blows, just move. Mankind isn't THAT stupid...

This is ridiculous. Why do these programs have to keep saying it's overdue? Once, the supervolcano didn't erupt for a million years, and it's only been 640 thousand years since the last eruption. So, it could happen now, or it could happen 400 thousand years later.

To be honest, I doubt that we will even have the technology to neutralize the turmoil of a Mt.-St.-Helens-sized eruption in the forseeable future, let alone something with 2500 times the explosive power. Besides, without the incessant volcanic eruptions that took place in Earth's younger years, the climate might not even be suitable for us to be here at the present. If Yellowstone erupts, I think it's safe to say that it was, in fact, supposed to all along.

Yes, the Bible was written by about 40 men, from all different walks of life-- from kings to fishermen. It is made up of 66 books, written over a span of 1500 years and they all flow together because it had one author, God, the Creator of everything. I live in Wyoming, about 75 miles from Yellowstone. Thankfully this guy is wrong. The earth is only 6,000 years old and the last time Yellowstone blew was 5,500 years ago during Noah's flood. Yellowstone is a beautiful area that God created. Good thing He's in control of volcanoes.

The part I find frightening is that scientists are trying to relieve the pressure without triggering it. They can't predict volcanoes and they don't fully understand them. Yet, here they are messing with one that could wipe out all life on the planet. Why do I think that this is not a good idea!

Also that once this volcano errupts the earthquake will travel and trigger that one mountain in the Atlantic to completly slide into the ocean causing a Mega Tsunami which will obliterate the entire east coast as well. So basicly the entire United States will be jacked in the end. And it's said that the East coast will have 8 hours before impact. So hope to god your not asleep.
