Fans have been waiting 20 years for Mariah to make a CD of retro soul with this type of old school production, she's better on this than 99% of the commercial stuff. I also prefer to hear songs she writes with little or no input or co-writers. Maybe now that she's a Mom she'll start playing more piano so that the babies will as well, and dig a little deeper as a writer than always using samples. I love all her stuff but the gangsta hip hop affiliation is tired, really really tired.

When I Feel It, Slipping Away, There Goes My Heart, Secret Love , There For Me, Everything Fades Away, Help Me Make it Through The Night, Imperfect, Heat, 4Real 4Real, 100% This make a full album tracklisting. If Mariah's team were smart, they would gather these songs and make a collection. Also, would't it be awesome if Mariah could record some of the covers she has performed live? Like hearing a studio version of "Just Be good to me", or "Chain of Fools", or "You and I"! One could only hope.

I agree. USually, the unrelease tracks are the most creative and unique in sound. Prince releases all his unreleased tracks in an album every year and it all sounds great. I think once you're famous like Mariah, Michael,etc. record companies have to market you so you can sell and sometimes these "unique" tracks don't sell well on the radio so they don't make it on the album. I'm sure there are tons of hidden tracks, but its up to Sony to release them since that's who she was with before.
