what should i do how can i get help i am afraid to go back to the hosptial i feel like my dr has left me on my own, ben trying to do everything this weekend this is happeninig to me what can i do how can i fight them when i am so weak and i have been thinking of doing this i made the mistake of calling a talk line and they called 911 who took my clothes refused to let me leave until i said i would never hurt my self f them all lesson learned tell no one the truth
Thank you so much for speaking out about this important issue. I am a CP patient and hate the stigma that I face nearly everyday for simply taking medications that make my life bearable and somewhat productive. Even though I have a great doctor who tries to do his best for me I have seen first hand the "chilling effect" that the DEA has had on pain treatment in America. It is a travesty and needs to be changed. God Bless!
chronic pain leads to depression when the Drs. refuse to treat with medications that work..or they toss you out of the office saying you are seeking drugs..like an addict..Please..listen to the patients..we need medicine for our pain..the pains are real..we need relief..or we become depressed..suicidal..or even..homicidal! ..what is the smarter thing to do..give us the proper doses of non-harmful..non-addictive-medicines.not shove us out the door..where we turn to street drugs or alchohol

I am pretty worried about what my wife is going to do after the pain kills me off. I am not suicidal per se, but it simply occurs to me as a logical thing to do.
It's really hard - you don't want to leave your s.o. but you sometimes really don't think you can go on.
This is The way it IS for so many of us in unending chronic pain every day! Thanking you & PRN (PainReliefNetwork) for helping make people aware that we exist & are not "abusive" simply because we need/take meds/opiods to function on basic levels!
This was a great woman who fought a outrageous battle against uncaring government thugs.
