  • @27xtin - You are very welcome. Thank you for visiting and leaving a comment:)

  • WOW! this is GREAT! love it

  • @Shadowcirrcle - Well, Thank you! Would love to see your creation:)

  • hi..question,my concern is about the flower edges, the flower pieces were just cut, did you do something to lock the edges?will it not run?(i dont know the right term for that i hope you get what I mean :). thanks!

  • @akosimhe - Thank you for your inquiry. That is a great question. Depending on the fabric, the edges may or may not fray. With the fabrics used on this project (chiffon & organza), it may slightly fray but that would give it a little character. If you were to use tulle, it will not fray.

  • @youtiquebridal follow up questio =) ..if ever i want to seal to edges, just to be sure flowers won't fray(now i know), can you give some ways or tips on what to do?thank you!

  • @akosimhe - Thanks for your inquiry. I will put together some tips for you and try to explain it. I may have to put together a tutorial since it may be easier to understand and explain. If you don't mind, I have some project deadlines to complete, will it be okay to put something together for you in the near future?

  • @akosimhe - Since this is a great question, I will be doing a video tutorial in the near future. For now, here are some options for you: (1) you can use fray check which will seal the edges but will take a long time (2) I would highly suggest you iron on a light weight iron-on interfacing before you cut the flower pattern. This will be prevent the edges from fraying. I hope this helps:)

  • @youtiquebridal thank you for accomodating my questions. Looking forward for more tutorials.=)

  • @akosimhe You can also apply fraycheck liquid to the edges to keep them from fraying.

  • can i use toulle for this?

  • @ilubb2sing - You can most definitely use tulle. The tulle fabric will help give the flower structure:)

  • Hello, I love your tutorial but it would be great if you could do this again but with a video tutorial and not picture tutorial because I can learn better visually :D Hope you understand me, thank you xx

  • @xoDarkAngel024ox - Greetings! Thank you for your inquiry. When my schedule permits and as I strengthen my skills on improving and modifying videos, I will get one out for you:)

  • @youtiquebridal Yahey! Thank you...it's just I want to use this technique when I'm making my final dress for my project...Keep up the good work :D

  • How do you open the flower after you sew it together? The pettles are twisted in every direction. Such an awesome idea! Thanks for sharing!

  • @momof13kiddos - You are very welcome. I love sharing my techniques:) Actually, the organza fabric will give it some structure so the flower petals will start to stand and spread itself open.
