as i remembering fayrouz her 1977 hit was' then.. anyhow i was listning to band call ac/dc anyhow between her song and there song i mixed it was fun but still sound the same as tayr el -werwar and there was another one ya hajal saneen i heard lots of young singers asame was said they get one hit and go never seen again but fayrouz stand alone with her golden voice shes loved by all.and touched all her fun world wide no matter who you are if you listen her voice she stop u in your tracks.
Singers come and go Fayrouz is foraver. I was still in beriut in 1974. I remember this song, I was 17 years old. my feeling was back then sooner or later lebanon was going to explod when in 1973
PLO took over downtown beriut the goverment let them go at the end without
disarming them all, I was there as a young boy. We left mid 1975 to the stats
@Ajemian7 another year past ,and every time i listen to this song on you tube , I read your comment , and remember the sad Lebanon ,and how many people left ,and how the war changed our destiny , were a lot of Lebanese live away from Lebanon !!!!!! i always wonder ,what if the war didn't happen ,and my family didn't leave Lebanon ,what my life would be like ????.
@Ajemian7 Lebanon and the Lebanese and their cuisine is all beautiful. Had many great friends from there but lost contact due to our lives taking different directions. Along with Europeans the Middle Easterns are the best kind of friends can ever have. Beirut the Paris of the East.
I think she not only looks amazing in this video, but she sings wonderfully. i can´t understand a word she´s saying, but i am intrigued and love the sound of Arabic.
