Sorry Zach, the laser sensor is in the front bumper. The reason it's overrided when using the wipers is likely due to liability concerns.

They don't let you do the cruise control with the wipers on because the camera for it is behind the windshield, therefor when the wipers are on, they're blocking the camera.

@YOMama4real1 hmm lets see here. US makes shitty cars. That's interesting, because another vehicle that's closely related to the sequoia had quite a few problems. Camshaft failures, propeller shaft joint problems. Also problems with the 4 wheel drive system, along with the accellerator troubles. The truck in question is the Tundra, a truck that is directly related to the sequoia. I'm not trying to bash toyota, but those are facts. Japanese built in the US. So, who makes shitty cars again???

How about my old 2004 GMC Sierra....40K miles.....bad steering gear.....tranfer case problems.....massive transmission problems......frame flex problems.....what say you?

No, just no. Im glad i got my '09 Armada. A lot of room, Can tow almost 10K pounds and its fast. I acually beat one of these Sequoias in a race. and i only have a CAI in it. So QX56 and Armada ftw.

its not all how the car looks btw (well it does look tougher than a hummer), its what's under the hood and how good the car is.

1) the engine is a V8 5.7L which is the same as the $90,000 lexus lx570

2) the car is a bit ugly but it drives and feels luxurious.

My neighbor has the car and my family goes camping with them ALOt plus i carpool with them to school. this car is great

YOU'RE WRONG - Its VERY DIFFERENT.... LAND CRUISER AMAZON HAS A 112.2 INCH WHEEL BASE..... THIS SEQUOIA IS 122 INCH......

The Sequoia is to big for roads in europe, but the Land Cuiser is.

Overall length of the vehicle is almost 10 inches longer.

I would say it looks pudgier than any other car. I think the japs were making fun of us americans by making something as fat as us. Oh, and I got a suburban for $65,000 that is a 3/4 ton so it pulls way more, and with the 6.2L, I get more power with the same gas mileage or better. It only has the LT package. Not top of the line, but just as nice as a Lexus. The LTZ feels and looks like a Bentley interior. And the Suburban looks far better anyways. And the front wheels won't fly off either haha

Platinum Edition is too expensive. It is a good car, but I would never go for the Platinum Ed. I would buy the SR5 or if I have the extra money, I would go for the Limited Edition
