Should change the something ......The place is not right for gulshan grovr, Pran should not be 1 but not 3. Amrish puri 2 or 3. Gabbar is no. 1 and where is shakal, kulbhushan kharbanda and paresh rawal (com.villain), jivan(com.villain) & utpal dutta ( comedian villain) manoj bajpaye, where is great villain shakti kapoor similar to prem chopra.

Should change the something ......exclude Saharukh khan and include Premnath. If Srk would get as a villain place in indian cinema then u hav to put Ajay devgan for khakee, Mithun chakraborty for Jallad & Elaan etc. Amitabh Bachhan for Ankhe, Akshay kr. for Ajnabi, Intr Khiladi etc. Shaif ali khan for omkara......

hmmm ok with due respect to Amjad ji Amrish Puri is was & will always be remembered as the 1 & only villain in the world of cinema whereas amjad acted as a powerful villain only in sholay...rest of his movies as a villain does not hold a candle before amrish ji's legacy of playing villain...but the list is damn good as per the character goes, the most evil character was gabbar singh & then mugambo followed by Maharani-sadashiv amrapurkar from sadak & also ashutosh rana from sangharsh !

This list sucked. Half the people havent been in moveis for the past 30 yrs and half are women. Women who are playing bad mother in laws arent villians. Danny should be no one. He's the coolest villian. He was originaliy cast for Gabbar singh in Sholay, dude has made several super hits with amitabh bachnan and been the main viillian in movies with almost all A list bollywood superstars. DANNY or amrish puri should be no one. And amjad khan is hardly remebered for movies other than sholay.

the right selection was amjad khan, prem chopra, ajit khan, amrish puri, pran, danny, gulshan grover, and ashutosh rana, but the rest are not as villainous as I expected because other actors like shakti kapoor, prem nath, ranjeet, and paresh rawal were missing.

Amrish Puri should have been no1 as he was unquestionably the best and most consistant bollywood villain of all time. Amjad Khan was good in Sholay, but he never equalled the role of Gabbar Singh. Gulshan Grover should have been voted way ahead of 15th.

Special mention should have been mentioned to Shakti Kapoor, Raza Murad and Ranjeet too. They were top quality villains in films- they were never people you would like when they played their villainous roles.

Ummm mate Shah Rukh Khan is a great villain. His performances as a villain are his best.

I would even go as far as to say that in Anjaam he created one of the greatest villains in Hindi cinema of all time.

In my opinion, I think No.1 should be Amrish Puri; he did much more villainous films than Amjad Khan. Films such as Vishwatma, Tridev, Vidhata, Commando etc. Amjad Khan should be No. 2.
